- Multitaskers: While these droids are by no means cheap, despite being mass produced, they show exceptional adaptivity and creativity thanks to the advanced ATHENA DCOS, allowing for these Enforcer Droids to truly have the capacity not just to control, but to dominate most battlefields, though they are preferably used for urban warfare as they do lack the pure firepower expected from trooper droids.
- Balanced: These Arbalesk enforcer droids have a balanced programming, allowing them to be good in both hand to hand, melee weaponry and ranged combat, with their adaptive nature allowing them to be even more dangerous the longer they are in use.
- Robust build: As with all N&Z products, these droids are build to last and despite their complexity, they are still relatively simple to repair for those who have adequate knowledge with droid repair.
- Not Headless: Compared to some other droid types, the ZMDIII-C1 is not capable of acting without its head, as though it is heavily protected by a hardened cranium and helmet, the interior does hold the vital components for the Athena DCOS.
- Spinal connection: With most balancing mechanisms and wiring located within the reinforced spine of the ZMDIII-C1, damaging the spine may diminish the droid's capacity of even fully incapacitate it.
With the looming thread to all businesses by the Dark Empire, the raging wars within the core and the midrim, and the ramping up of corporate powers within the galaxy, it seemed to be most prudent to create an effective means of both offense and defense. The ZMDIII-C1 "Arbalesk" was built and designed to be exactly that. The N&Z already had quite the experience in building and designing effective and surprisingly good combat droids, with the ZMDI and ZMDII lines having a host of military applications, security applications and that in a large variety of forms and roles.
The goal with the ZMDIII-C1 was to emulate the effectiveness of the old ZMDI-C1 Combat droids, but with added computational and processing power, greater adaptivity and a much greater creativity in the combat droid's thinking and planning. Though these droids are certainly not yet comparable to for instance the Tactical Droids the company also offers, nor the highly specialized droids the company has built before, they are certainly capable of taking terrain, defending it and dominating it, with a very good learning capacity and ample pre-programmed systems to allow the ZMDIII-C1 to shine in the very area where most combat droids would be outgunned and outsmarted by biological combatants.
Built mainly for urban warfare, these droids can act as security for assets, as infiltration agents, as a guerilla force, they have the capacity to conquer, control and dominate in dense areas such as cities, buildings and so forth, with quick processing thanks to the ATHENA DCOS, enough firepower from their standard equipment and several hidden surprises in the form of the FAE/M-05 Kinetite Shockwave Strike Weapon and the areal maneuvrability thanks to the NZ LHA Mk II Legionary Heavy Armor these droids can go toe to toe with the best militaries in the galaxy as long as the chosen terrain is Urban.
