• Plasma Ignition System: One of the features of the Obliterator is the addition of a plasma ignition system utilizing Draemidus Finis Crystal. Through this every round is effectively ignited in crimson plasma, increasing its velocity and penetrating power, and magnifying the thermal damage inflicted upon targets. It vastly increases the damage output.
• Verpine: Through the introduction of verpine shatter rail system, the weapon accelerates rounds fired to a hypersonic velocity. The extreme velocity attached to such a weapon gives them explosive power that is comparable to an anti-material rifle or a rail gun.
• Range & Neural Link: As befitting its role as a Sniper Rifle, the Obliterator posts an impressive range with an ability to reach nearly any target on the battlefield, in part to design and the impressive modular scope system it's equipped with. Furthermore, one of its most advanced features is the miniaturized Kraemonen and Mind Stone inside each one. The Kraemonen acts as a brain for the weapon while the Mind Stone is its method of communion with its wielder. All a Drael has to do is hold the weapon to link with it, others of various species cannot use it. This further helps a Drael with the calculations for long distance shots, ensuring them greater efficiency than most standard sniper teams.

• Heavy: The Obliterator is a weapon designed to be utilized by the monstrous Draelvasier. To nearly anyone else holding the weapon its weight, and size make it impractical or even unusable in combat.
• Precision: This weapon was designed specifically to be a precision weapon, specifically designed for the careful elimination of targets. It contains low ammunition capacity, and a lower firing rate.

After the success of the Eviscerator, and the lessons learned in its creation the High Warlord Rakvul the Darkener returned to the drawing board. For the elite forces of the Draelvasier, the elimination of high value targets via assassination was vital. If the members of the Zealot Order, or others were going to effectively carry out such tasks be they on covert missions or on the battlefield, a new weapon needed to be developed. Through extensive research Rakvul went to work to design such a monstrous new creation.

The Obliterator was the answer.

It would be a high performance, precise, deadly sniper rifle that carried over much of the newest lessons from the Eviscerator. Thanks to the Kraemonen introduction, each wielder would be deeply connected with their weapon. This also had a great impact on snipers, allowing them to make lightning fast calculations and engage targets swiftly at greater ranges, outpacing other snipers using standard forms of technological weaponry. Due to the addition of a verpine shatter rail system, the rounds came out of the weapon with such penetrating power that it was potentially able to destroy whatever the weapon struck. Once it was tested, and utilized in a final demonstration it was approved for use by all forces.
