Obsidian Voidshards are a dark marvel of the Shadow Hand Darth Prazutis's efforts through Sith Alchemy, forged from void-infused obsidian and fragments torn from the boundaries of reality itself. These rare shards serve as a nightmare for hostile Force-sensitive combatants, distorting the Force, perception, and battle awareness of all who face them. Unlike Voidstone, which outright nullifies the Force, these shards do not suppress all Force use, instead, they selectively interfere with enemy Force users, disrupting tracking, precognition, and perception-based abilities while allowing a Sith Lord to retain full access to his own power.

When embedded into armor, weapons, or artifacts, these shards become an extension of the owner's presence, ensuring that those who face them see shifting shadows, flickering silhouettes, and fragmented visions of reality itself. A Jedi, or enemy Force-user relying on Force-enhanced reflexes or battle meditation will find their abilities unreliable, making them vulnerable to brutal, overwhelming assaults. Yet, for all their power, these shards are not invincible. If exposed to concentrated Light Side energy, their alchemical bonds begin to unravel, weakening their effects. Additionally, their disruptive field is localized, meaning that while they excel in close-quarters combat, a Jedi observing from a distance may still be able to detect Sith through indirect means.

To those who face Obsidian Voidshards, reality itself becomes a question, and by the time they regain their clarity, it is far too late.
