Ocean Eyes

Tatooine at night was the best time to visit. Well, that's what Akabane thought at least. It was a little cooler than day time and drinking in the nighttime was always fun. Besides that so many interesting people prowled during the night. Maybe that was the main reason for his own travels in the dark. Of course he was out and about for some reason but half the time he didn't know really why. Perhaps it was because he wanted to get drunk or it could be to meet new people. Either way, he was on Tatooine standing outside a cantina with a smoke rested between his lips.

Thalia had found herself on Tatooine by a complete accident, that was the last time she would ever be using a republic transport ship. She had preferred to fly herself but they had insisted for her own protection she take one of their ships so she agreed, they had ran out of fuel here on tatooine so she decided to grab a drink. Tucking part of her hair under a beanie she would walk the street right in front of the cantina, that night she wore a simple skater skirt and a crop top

Akabane looked up at the stars as a small buzz surprised him. That was about the only joy of smoking, then came along the addiction part which tainted your life. He didn't care about all that though. Finding a job was the first thing on the agenda. Well, drinking after the smoke was too. Bad habits were the least of his worries. Oh yes, the stars. They were always lovely to gaze at and even more so when under the influence of something. The buzz didn't last long unfortunately as it never does and he looked back down feeling bored. While the stars were beautiful he wasn't privileged enough to get to view them for too long. It was time for a drink anyway.

He dropped the bud onto the ground and smashed it to extinguish the burning end. Just as he did that a woman with interesting characteristics appeared in the street. Akabane wasn't much of a talker at night so he said nothing. The young man was certainly intrigued by her choice of dress and hair though, showing it in his eyes without any need for words. A gentleman he was, waiting to enter the cantina until she did herself.

Thalia would approach the bar and order herself a drink and taken a seat, the light was dim making her blue eyes sparkle. She would not even notice the man walking in behind her. She would gaze around slowly careful not to stare at anyone for too long, she had been in her share of altercations, that why she carried not one but two blasters one strapped to each of her thighs under her skirt easily accessible

Akabane stepped inside the cantina and glanced across the room. There at the bar was the woman from outside. Grinning, he moved towards the bar where she sat and ordered a drink himself. "Surprise me." It was a common thing he said to the bartenders as he liked to drink something different each time. Choosing a drink was just too difficult at the end of the day. Well maybe not seriously but he could make excuses, right? He continued looking forward while speaking with the woman. "A little lady walking inside a bar all alone... aren't you a brave one." Akabane was sure she'd know he directed that towards her even while not look at her.

"Im not brave, Im just not stupid. Aren't you cute tho?" The blue haired girl would say grinning not even looking in his direction, she knew that she was more than quick enough to draw a blaster on him than he could even think about doing anything, despite this fact she did find him pretty attractive

She stated it wasn't bravery that allowed her to walk inside alone but wit? Akabane chuckled after she gave that reply. Then, she called him cute. He kept that same old grin and responded. "Me? Cute?" This made him chuckle once more as he didn't think so. "I wouldn't call myself cute, love." He viewed himself that way, showing his modesty. Geron, his father, raised him to pay more attention to those around him so he wouldn't be self-absorbed. The social life would be more fun in the long run and ultimately, he'd be a better person. Akabane thought himself to be a good person, using what his father had taught everyday such as proper greetings and treating women as gods. Well, maybe not literally but he tried his best to be most respectful to them. That's why he typically tried to dodge being complimented.

Thalia at this point had drank some before she got to this cantina so that she was already feeling pretty good when she got here. This also clouded her judgement so when she ordered her second drink here she would smile at the man and say "If you're not pretty than who is?"

She smiled at him and it appeared to be contagious as he shared the same expression. Akabane turned to see the bartender place a drink in front of him. "Thank you," he said before turning back and looking at the blue eyed woman. He knew what the right answer would be in this situation but he shook his head instead. "Beats me." He sipped on the drink, his face showing a satisfied Akabane. Tatooine knew him too well. "Why'd you come here, Miss?"
