Strengths

Speed- Ocha weighs next to nothing and her small stature allows her a fleetness of foot. Not only can she run quickly, but she is also highly evasive, able to outpace and dodge a lot of the larger people she encounters.

Multiple Arms- Like all Codru-ji, Ocha has four fully functioning arms that allow her to multitask to an extreme. Her primary arms are her top set, her right primary being her dominant hand though she is ambidextrous with minor lack of control in her non-dominant arm; this being her secondary left.

Keen senses- Ocha has a keen sense of hearing and smell, her species keeps much of their canid nature upon growing into adulthood. Her sense of smell is her strongest sense, allowing Ocha to track and hunt a particular smell for miles. She’s also able to detect subtle smells and high frequency noises. Most Codru-ji have a sort of low light vision as well, allowing them to see better in darkness than other diurnal species.

Weaknesses

Small- Though size doesn’t always matter, for Ocha it does. Navigating a world made for a more average size has its own frustrations, chairs are too big, objects are too heavy or too high up. She’s constantly problem solving, unable to utilize the more subtle aspects of the force to assist her means a lot of climbing, grunting and glaring.

Naive- As dramatic as her upbringing was, Ocha is quite sheltered and the finer points of people tend to slip passed her notice. She is honest and expects the same from others, which has led her into some sticky situations in the past. As of now, the motivations and inner workings of other beings are a mystery she is still trying to learn how to navigate.

Impatient- Instinct and impulse rule this young Codru-ji, not having anything to temper this, Ocha is often prone to acting before thinking. Ocha wears her negative emotions on her sleeve, growing more angry and impatient with herself than with others, though she tends to lash out the more frustrated she gets.

Appearance

Ocha Mi is a pale, golden eyed and clearly undersized Codru-ji, whereas most of her kind are average if not a bit above average height compared to other humanoids, Ocha is very small, a testament to the poor conditions of her youth and transformative phase. Her hair is thick and riotous, a deep black that falls down the right side of her face all the way down to her collar bone, whether or not this is to conceal her right eye or not is not a topic she speaks of.

She has a sour countenance, often frowning or outright glaring at the world around her with the sort of jaded scrutiny usually reserved for much older people. Ocha has a mouth full of sharp teeth and a slightly purple tongue, a trait common to her particular family. She sports long, pointed ears, long, thick fingernails and yellow eyes which are also quite common for her people, beyond her diminutive size there isn’t much that sets her apart from the common Codru-ji.

Ocha wears a simple black body glove, not so different from what one might find under the armor of the troopers of old. She doesn’t wear shoes, preferring to feel the ground under her naked feet, it offers traction while in motion and helps her feel vibrations a bit better while she’s scenting and trying to avoid others. The vest she wears is the only thing keeping her warm, made of a cheap, but efficient fabric that absorbs and holds her prodigious body heat. The matching choker and hip pouch she wears was the only thing she’s ever purchased for herself, the rest is all hand me downs or stolen.

Biography:

Ocha Mi was the first and only daughter of an influential Codru-ji family on their homeworld, Munto Codru. Her family consisted of many older members, ranging from ages 40-80; but not any children. Because of this she was the sole heir to their properties and influence and was the perfect target for the time honored Codru-Ji tradition of kidnapping. During the twilight of her seventh year; when she was most vulnerable and soon to begin the change from a wyrwulf to an adult; a plot was executed against her family. The Elders of her family were brutalized and Ocha was stolen from her aging parents by the Okar-Nim. A younger, rival family.

While kidnapping was a common practice among her people, the art of actually keeping a captive alive and well for later use was not something the Codru-Ji had perfected and the Okar-Nim decided that Ocha was worth more as an insult than as a hostage. To rub salt into the Mi family’s wounds, they gave Ocha to a trader heading off world, paying him handsomely to sell the child to whomever he saw fit to.

They touched down on the moon of Nar Shaddaa, a mere hop and a skip from Munto Codru. It was frugal for the trader, a man named Ecks Berrut, as even with the new direction the Hutts were taking, trading and selling in slaves was a hard habit for the underworld to break. Ocha was sold off quickly as a guard dog, as most other species view the children of the Codru-ji as mere animals.

The buyer was a Nosaurian named Kyrt Snagrot, who worked as a manager of a Hutt owned warehouse that was designated for illicit contraband. Ocha served as a guard for a mere month before she was found in the backmost corner of the warehouse, a cocoon plastered to the wall. In a moment of good luck, Kyrt didn’t have it destroyed, logic winning out that eventually cocoons became other things and Ocha was missing, thus she was the cocoon. They left it alone, where Ocha morphed and grew for a month before birthing out into the world as something new.

Her change was not welcomed and she was made a pariah for the role she abandoned by changing from a terrifying hexapod to a scrawny, malnourished kid. The cold, unsuitable environment didn’t aid Ocha in her growth and she emerged small and awkward, unable to use her secondary set of limbs without them shaking. She was bullied and scorned, set to doing menial tasks to make up for the inconvenience of her presence. Lifting heavy boxes, crawling through small spaces and climbing stacks of crates and other such uncomfortable and demeaning things to put her in her place.

She had nowhere else to go, it was safer under the employ of Kryt and the other warehouse workers than it was to venture out into the streets of Nar Shaddaa. Ocha lived this way for five years, before the dreams began…

It started out subtly, faded memories of places she’d never been waning as consciousness returned each morning. Then the dreams became vivid, she walked through them lucidly as she had never done before, roaming through vast forests and a temple. Ocha didn’t know what it meant, but the more the dreams happened the more she felt the poison of hope seep into her thoughts.
