STRENGTHS
- Invasive: The Alberth Class Frigate combines a high speed and heavy firepower together to create a highly versatile attack vessel, capable of getting inside enemy formation or pursuing targets, as well as fighting above its weight class for short periods of time.
- Hangar: The Alberth Class Frigate has only limited hangar space, and must priorities that for support craft to ferry Order operatives to their destinations. When under assault from enemy strike craft, the Alberth Class must rely on its limited point defense turrets and speed to protect it.
The Alberth Class is the first dedicated starship to be designed and produced by the Order as it begins to make its presence known on the galactic stage. Reflecting the Order's limited assets and funding at its inception, the Alberth Class has several handicaps preventing it from operating on the same scale as other similarly sized frigates of the major factions of the galaxy. Making up the largest portion of the current Order Navy, the Alberth Class is equipped to be able to ferry Order operatives and strike teams across the galaxy wherever they need to go, and be able to deploy and support them in high risk situations. In combat squadrons, the Alberth Class is capable of engaging larger enemy formations and ships with a reasonable chance of survival, if not victory.
