- Heavily Armed: Taking a page from the original LAATs design, the gunship is heavily armed and made to be mobile with a slightly larger frame to include more systems and the ability to seal itself for use in space.
- Independent: Capable of hyperspace travel and operating on its own if need be.
- Overly Engineered: A beast of a transport and gunship able to handle most situations and jump to hyperspace itself. While other ships might need to get out fo the hanger the gunship can begin its attack runs and boarding actions faster.
- Advanced Systems: Designed with several notable systems installed on the shipsto improve their capabilities and turn the jedi into a needed operational fighter.
- Kyberite: At the heart of the jedi fighter giving it a mini lightside nexus and aura that enhances the jedi ewithin and creates a small bubble making darkside influnece over the ships harder.
- Laminanium: Designed like a Quellian ship the hull of the orbital platforms has a thin layer of the material to improve repairs and over time depending on the amount of damage it is able to patch itself up.
- Saotome Injection Upgrade: Designed to boost the engines of the ship for a speed boost that few others can match. The strain on the engines though prevent it from being used multiple times.
- Saotome Maas Upgrade: Designed to mask a ship entering and exiting hyperspace by masking the radiation that is released.
- Advanced Stealth Polymer: Advanced fallenassi cloaking for the ship that immerses the ship in the white current.

- Lightside Aura: The choushin design is meant to make sure this is a lightside vessel. it radiates the lightside of the force to repel darksiders from entering and most who touch the darkside feel sick when inside of the ship. When on the ground it makes a bubble of force energy with the light about ten meters. The kyber crystal heart of the ship lets it emanate the force.
- Exotic Particles: Largely unknown and not seen in the galaxy before. It isn't invincible nor is it really strong but it reacts violently near dark and anti-matter which can disrupt and destroy it or even cause it to rupture and disintegrate.
- Force Nullification: Composed of solidified energy from a pocket dimension. Within a force nullification field it becomes heavy. The molecular structure is super dense but able to skirt and not adhere to physics like gravity normally. Without the force to preform this it becomes almost impossibly heavy to lift.
- Overly Engineered: Like the ancient model the Saotome LAAT is overly engineered and a beast with high performance, a very nimble design and weapons. To beef it up while serving as a primary escort and transportation. This makes the cost of manufacturing it high and maintaining it a very important aspect. The gunship is rarely seen outside of the second fleet for engagements.
- Lower Transportation Compliment: To give it better engineering and work on replacing some of the drawbacks the amount of soldiers/personnel that can be transported has been cut in half.
- Kyber crystals: Using the design of the finalizer and enhancing the power of the weapons with crystals gives the ships a secondary effect as the crystals used for weapons can be explosive if cracked.
- Sleg: A powerful energy enhancer, the sleg absorbs and channels the excessive heat generated by the chassis of the speeder. Making them maintain a stronger level of power but also increases the chances that they could explode from the heat.
- Radiates the Lightside of the force like a beacon alerting others to its location.
- Force Nullification: The ship is seeped in the lightside of the force and such it does not function well when the force is nullified. The choushin itself can be damaged or even die without the force over an extended period of time.
- Built in power source: Designed with its own internal power source that is long lasting but it is largely able to power the armor and systems of the vehicle but when damaged it is highly explosive.
- Gravity: The advanced thrusters of the vehicle require gravity to function at full efficiency. Without it there can't counter gravity to get speed or thrust for the high speed movement.
- Self Repairing: Built with a protective layer to patch the vehicle in the event of damage. The time table is dependent upon the amount of damage with smaller tears being easier and faster to repair then gashes which can take hours to reform.
- Note: Only the layer can repair not the full plate armor itself the plating can be damaged still but the underlayer of Laminanium can reform and remain.
Designed as an overly engineered LAAT with stealth polymer on its hull and able to be used in just about any situation. The Odan class is meant to be just what the jedi can use to get from ship to surface while having the protection and armor that is needed. With advanced shields, weapons that are able to provide a variety in different situations. As a workhorse within the Kenobi fleet that is able to be used and along with the transport which can bring more jedi or paladins down to the ground but the LAAT can bring the different vehicles down to the planet. THe engineers have worked harder to make sure the crew can be scaled down to just five with two pilots, two gunners and a fifth who operates the systems in the back and rear guns as needed. The airship transports robust series of stealth system to get it down and out for bringing in more jedi as needed.
