Odd place for this, I know.

I need a few things... 50 posts for ranks, some advice and a way to make my own signature without using GIMP... in this thread, I'm only asking for advice though.

When you know you have a problem with making far too much compared to what you can handle, how do you stop?

Set a limit to how much you will do and maintain doing. Whether it is a maximal number of threads you can have, characters you can make or whatever else, set limits for yourself. Sometimes you may be extremely ambitious (like me myself in real life), but you must be able to determine where is the point from which you shouldn't go past.

When setting the limit, think everything through. Be serious, don't go overboard, and don't lie to yourself. Be critical -- include only the things which you can really do and manage, leave everything else out.

After that, you have to maintain the limit. Every once in a while, think about your actions -- have they been accordance to your limit, have you judged your abilities correctly, is there anything you gotta change? Even though it may be tempting, don't ignore the maximal amount of things you can do. Instead, take a look at that and judge how you've managed. If you can't keep up, take one thing off the list. If you can do more than that, add one thing which you removed earlier.

Being immature is not always a bad thing, but if it distracts you from being responsible, something has to change.

Well, that was a lot of help, literally xD And in this case, I realized I had a problem when I was doing far more updating with 2 picture combined avatars than making progress in anything besides that and D&DO. In fact, this profile is the most progress I've gotten done all day and night so far XD And the immaturity part was in response to Jorus.

Oh, and since it's in my head still, how could I make a signature without using GIMP or downloading any programs?

Yes, signatures can definitely be made with GIMP. I personally don't use the program anymore, but it has practically the same functions as PhotoShop does, it's just simpler and more basic. I would suggest that you look up some tutorials, like these here. Maybe they could be of any help.
