DESCRIPTION
Omni-Environmental Generation Five Armor, or OE-G5 for short, was developed by Czerka Arms to offer buyers a suit of armor to tackle a wide variety of combat situations for both the public and private sectors. Viability was the key idea behind the OE-G5’s development. Such as being capable in virtually any environment be it an arctic, volcanic, or toxic planet. It can even serve as an military grade EVA suit in the vacuum of space.
The OE-G5 utilizes a combination of repulsor and rocket technology to allow its wearers far greater mobility than either option could provide on its own. Often in tandem with the repulsor pack making the armor functionally weightless to allow the jetpack to move the wearer with far greater speed and efficiency without burning through fuel nearly as quickly. Allowing the user to bound across large distances with ease.
Additionally the arms of the suit are outfitted with built-in weapon mounts. Giving the armor a bit of modularity with whatever weapons systems one might have to outfit it with. It can even be used with smaller personal combat shields similarly seen incorporated into various vambraces. However, a few corners have been cut. Such as with heat management. Due to a concerning lack of heatsinks, a concerning amount of thermal energy can build up within the armor. Often to the discomfort of the wearer as the inside becomes a portable sauna. Especially when the armor is used in space with a total lack of conduction to pull heat away from the armor. It can also be a bit difficult for a wearer to look around in the suit as there isn’t much room for the head to move for a turn. Needing to rely more on the internal HUD and targeting computer for the wearer to get their bearings straight.
