she as well, taking her with her when she had departed the planet.
When she had been first brought to the Red Lady of Spira, the woman with golden hair had given her over an older woman, instructed to bathe the child and inspect her, though none of this had frightened the already harmed and abused child. Her training would become soon after, something she had trouble with comprehending as she was being taught for what she would become some day. In the earliest years, the girl cleaned rooms after the Red Ladies and Gents had finished with their clients, building her young mind with curiosity. It was only the woman who had been put in charge of her that she dared ask, the knowledge given by the older woman teaching her of how life progressed in the Red Lady.
She began working as a Red Lady at the lowest of levels when she entered her teenage years, moving up with the years to come. She was a quick study, able to read the clients she was given even though they were the lowest of scum and more often than not, disgusting in their appearance and their requests of the girl but within a few years, she'd progressed to the middle levels, getting better clients and gaining a proper sallary though she rarely found need for it. Then, she had been brought ot Asteria once more. When faced with the true authority of the Red Lady, she was asked a name but she had none to give. The old lady had began calling her
Girl when she had first arrived, which in time became
Gir, however that hadn't been a name at all, Lady deWinter had decided. It was the woman who requested
Gir be checked up by their medical staff, which determined that not only was
Gir healthy, her genetic make up was that of human and Lorrdian. The old woman however added that the way her face is shapped, she somewhat reminded her of Atrisian humans, though evidently she wasn't pure. So Asteria had named the child
Oeana, based on a name that occured in the Atrisian history. Her last name
Janin would be given to her a couple years later when she had progressed to an Escort as well, allowing her to leave the Red Lady with estimeed clients.
There was a time when Oeana had developed feelings for a Red Gent, and he for her. It had been a sweet and happy time, allowing her to better comprehend the human condition but while his feelings were strong, Oeana spent more and more time with Asteria who educated and trained her, she was comprehending that love was a flawed concept which distrupted the life of a Red Lady. So when the choice to accept further promotion or stay where she was at with the man who claimed he loved her came, Oeana didn't hesitated, leaving him beneath her.
It has only been a few years now that Oeana has worked directly under Lady deWinter, receiving a different kind of education than most girls within the company, in order to perform as the woman's personal assistant. This position set her part from the rest, the second in the entire hierarchy. While she is still a Red Lady and thus keeps clients, her time is far more spent with Lady deWinter, and thus her price is higher and only the most estimeed of clients are given time with Oeana, either by her own agreement or that of Lady deWinter.
