Of Blood and Cherry Blossoms [Outer Rim Coalition Dominion of Hex O-60)

Hudson looked over at their new associate, he had grenades excellent.

Rekha was standing back watching, "Hudson today please before the Loyalists decide to kill us." She looked around again the dust had settled and there was movement around them. The loyalists were perking up now that they knew they were there.

"I think they are over by the Slaves entrance" One of the loyalists yelled.

The sound of runners on the open field ran their way. Rekha turned watching for them. Her green eyes darting back and forth waiting for the first sign of movement.

Rekha smiled, "see right on cue, they are coming now."

She wasn't the most patient of souls especially when someone was going to start shooting at her.

Hudson nodded, "great, yeah" he looked at Rekha god she could be a pain. He turned back to Dorrian, "Put one on each of the hinges and let's back up" Hudson didn't say anything out loud but he wondered about [member="Dorrian Korr"] he had grenades, probably knew how to throw them, but needed lessons on where to place them for effectiveness. What were they teaching kids these days? Or maybe he was just getting old.

I toss the sticky grenades onto each hinge and Open up the LK Apollo system on my gauntlet, an orange touch screen opens up and I back up about 15 or so feet "Alright time for some fireworks"

I tap the screen and the bombs go off in a controlled explosion doing minimal damage to the door and the architecture but doing the job in destroying the hinges, the massive doors fall down creating a small dust cloud that disappates after a bit. I then draw my pistols "So shall we go then?"

[member="Dorrian Korr"]

"IN we shall go" She nodded approval at how the door fell. Good job she thought pulling her weapon she took point and went through the door first. Inside there were signs of the explosion but nothing that would get them sued for property damage. She moved down the hall there so far were not any soldiers.

BUT there also wasn't any sign of [member="Yula Perl"] and the slaves coming with her. Had they been caught? Delayed? Were they even in the right building??

She looked back to Hudson and Dorrian, made a sign to get one of them on the other side of the hall.

She inched down then she heard the footsteps...slow steady, not running.

She raised her hand to her eyes and then pointed down the hall meaning get your eyes up there...what's coming..how many, watching. So much in just a gesture. She waited.

I get on the other side as hudson gets on the opposite and I look around into the hallway zooming in trough the hud x5 optic zoom "Alright I have aquired a group of targets coming this way....but cant make out their faces."

The maze of halls beneath the castle was…a bit more confusing than Yula had initially anticipated. Maybe she should have downloaded a map before she tried this? Did castles have downloadable maps of their catacombs on the holonet? Probably not.

“Do you know where we’re going?” One of the Kitsune men asked, voiced laced with exhaustion and wariness. The initial enthusiasm and adrenaline of escaping was beginning to wear off, and given that Yula’s comm coverage was spotty in the basement, they weren’t exactly aware of what was going on upstairs. Maybe they’d walk into the spears of a dozen angry guards and be put to death.

“I mean…do you? Don’t you live here?” Yula’s brow furrowed in frustration at their situation until the sound of someone yelling for help reached both humanoid and fox-like ears. The group quieted, slowing their pace out of caution as they made their way down a long hall, dim light of the wall mounted flames carving into their wary expressions. Yula drew her pistol, the fingers of her free hand curling slightly in case she needed to draw upon the Force for this one. The muffled yelling grew louder and then all at once, the door flew off of its hinges.

“Wh…Rekha? Is that you?” Relief washed over her face and the group as tension seemed to slowly unwind from the group. Yula strode forward as if to confirm that it was indeed the pilot. “Ugh, am I glad to see you!” The Zeltron mix threw her arms around the other woman’s neck in a briefly dramatic display of appreciation before pulling away. Her eyes traveled over to the men who’d accompanied her.

“Thank you, Rekha and friends.” She nodded to them all. “I’m hoping you guys know a way out of here?"

*I sheath my pistols in my holsters and my face plate opens in my helmet revealing a man that looks to be at least mid 20's but has seen alot of chit. "My ship is nearby and has alot of space in the cargo hold I could get you guys in there and head to a friendly landing zone."

Rekha laughed, "Girl you are late but yes it is me" Good grief she though and then looked at anyone that had come with, "I see you brought company but yes..there are ships out there to take us out of here. This guy here says he has a ship, and of course we have our ship. So..you actually have a choice." Oh she took that hug and held onto it it was warm, and friendly and Yula smelled so good.

She smiled good to see they had made it out, "Course now we do have to get back across the field. I had to tie a few folks up and there are some probably waiting for us cause well you know no one ever just stops" She ran her fingers through her hair. Glad that they had made it this far.

But in truth getting in was one thing, getting out another.

"So let's get back out the door and make tracks"

I cross my arms and smile at the Kitsune people

"Yeah We just gotta get these guys to safety and make sure neither of us kick the bucket yet, I have a personal vendetta against a trandoshan I gotta take care of before I die. If you want I can tell the whole story as we are headed out?"

Rekha headed down the hall making sure she had the group with her and that Dorrian and Hudson were bringing up the rear. Had to make sure no sneak attack came while making their escape.

As they approached the door Rekha held her hand up to keep them back as she moved forward to look outside. She didn't see anything least not right off. She ventured further bringing herself out into the light looking around, still no sign. What they all do leave?

She shook her head it felt weird but they had to get them out.

She waved them forward, "Ok folks I'll give you cover you get the ladies to the ship. No looking back either. Keep moving I'll be along..." She smiled she had this feeling that something would happen the moment they began running for the ship.
