Oh, No, Not This Again.

Dalansa

Little Miss Psychopath
Corosaunt

Dalansa wasn't sure why she was here. This was the heart of the republic, a place she should have avoided. But here she was. And the undercity was the only safe place here. If anywhere was safe. She sat in the back of a cantons, sipping a drink. Her first ever. If anyone came, she may have to waste it.

Hasjo Hallu, Padawan of the Jedi Order patrolled the underground. After the incident with the slaves, he had regularly come down here, sometimes with CSF and other times alone. Tonight, he was alone. He had no goal but to prevent crime, to keep the peace. He was a servant of the Republic. A Jedi, and keeping the peace was his duty. He passed by a cantina, and that was when he sensed something. it was tempting, and dark. Turning around, the Nautolan entered the cantina. He could feel it, and he followed the trail. Approaching Dalansa, he immediately knew for what she was. He brandished his lightsaber, not yet igniting it. To follow the Dark Side was to be arrested. He gave her one stern warning "You're under arrest. Please come quietly."

"And why should I?" She stood, looking him in the eye, and pulled it her weapon. If he wanted to fight, then she would. But the handle wasn't the only thing in her hand. The glass was in the other. To @[member="Hasjo Hallu"], she probably looked like a drunkard. But she had it for a different reason. She needed to keep him underestimating her. The drink would do the trick for now. She seemed as if the liquor was giving her the bravery to stand up to the Jedi.

Seeing the Jedi and the girl facing off to him, the other patrons left as quickly as they could. Those who didn't we're too drunk to realize what was going on.

"The Dark Side permeates your very being. You're to be taken to the Jedi Temple. I am giving you one final warning. Please, for the sake of peace. Come quietly, no blood needs to be shed this day." Hasjo had spoken like a true Jedi, not the bloodlustful other Jedi that crowd in the Order. It was clear Hasjo didn't want violence, he was a man of peace. That didn't mean he wouldn't resort to violence if it was absolutely necessary. But he wouldn't kill - it wasn't his way. His eyes remained focused on the woman before him. Ready to fling himself at her if she were to attack. He took the stance of Djem So, holding the un-ignited hilt high above his head.

Dalansa spat as the Nautolan spoke. "Where were the Jedi when I was created and abandoned on Arkania? Or sold into slavery? Don't pretend you're so much better than everyone." And with that, she seemed to smile. "And yet you ready for war." She raised her saber handle, not to attack, but simply holding it between him and her. But the other hand was what moved. The contents of the glass went flying into the face of [member="Hasjo Hallu"], hopefully blinding him and allowing her to make a run for the door. If not, her saber would be her only option.

"Ignorance has led you to the Dark Side." He stated firmly. He had never truly believed himself better than anyone. Everyone was equal. All life was sacred. When her glass came at him with a collision course, his blade ignited in a hiss of blue plasma. He swung down, catching the glass. The sheer heat given off from the plasma ignited the alcohol, but the flame had come as quickly as it had gone. He stood his ground, firm and powerful. He offered her one last chance "Surrender now. You're under arrest."

"And yet you remain blind to your own hypocrisy." The girl replied. Darn. He was smarter than she had expected. Sighing, she activated one side of her weapon. The sapphire blade was her only guard. He was better at the saber, but she had been fighting enemies like him for as long as he had probably been alive. Her only move was to raise a guard, but it was false. When [member="Hasjo Hallu"] came at her, she would move. This was no longer a matter of if she got to enjoy her drink. This was a matter of survival.

"And yet you remain blind to your own hypocrisy." She said, igniting a blade. He remained standing still in a defensive poise of Djem So, as if waiting for her to attack first. Suddenly he was propelling through the air. His powerful legs as a Nautolan had kicked him off the ground, soaring across the room. His arm rippled with muscle as he brought down his blade overhead with immense strength. Attempting to shatter any defense she could pose in a single strike. The move was notorious among Djem So users, it was known as the 'Falling Avalanche' and with such ferocity and power behind it, it was rightfully named so.

When [member="Hasjo Hallu"] struck where she had been standing, she was gone, at his side now. The blow was immense, powerful, and she was glad to be out of the way. Her saber came at him from the side, slashing while she hoped his guard was down. And then she moved again. To the door. To get out. No fight was worth it. Not now.

The movement was swift and fluid. The running of water. As he had slammed down, his immense eyes could see her to his side. He twisted his hips, manoeuvring his body to quickly bring his lightsaber against her own. Preventing a fatal blow to himself. He pushed back against her lightsaber, trying to unbalance her. As he did so, he retreated a step back. She moved for the door and he gave chase.

He was following. She had figured as much. "No rest for the weary" she muttered, before turning down an alleyway and spun on her heels. Readying herself for his turn, she held the blade tightly. She hadn't cornered herself. Just led [member="Hasjo Hallu"] away from any friends he may want to bring in.

She wasn't in the mood to kill someone today.

He followed her down the alleyway. Clipping the small hilt of his lightsaber to his belt. He reached further back, grasping something longer. He wrapped his webbed hands around the lightsaber pike and brought it to heel. He slid his thumb down the length of the hilt, igniting the cerulean plasma with a burst of light, and the familiar hiss. She hadn't given up, nor would he. He slowly began to approach. At first he had been twirling the blade between his fingers slowly. But now he was increasing speed with every step. The cerulean plasma whining loudly as it became a whirlwind of a blue haze. He was utilising the lightsaber technique known as Su. And in a confined space such as an alleyway, would prove to be effective. He stalked closer to her, the dual-bladed lightsaber continuing to shriek loudly as it closed it on her. His foot found strong purchase, and he lunged himself towards her, his blade continuing to twirl in it's incredible speed.
