Can’t Touch This: The Duet uses its small size and incredible speed to its advantage. Darting around the battlefield, the ship is great for hit-and-run attacks.
Shifting Into 27th: Surprisingly, The Duet is actually quite fast. Equipped with some not-so-legal parts, the ship can outrun most other starfighters. This is good, as it’s flight is much better than it’s fight.
WEAKNESSES
Duct Tape And Gorilla Glue: The Duet is most definitely going to fall apart at some point. By just looking at it the wrong way it gains rust and loses parts. While it may be space worthy, it is not recommended to use the ship in heavily attacks against others.
Hits Like A Bike: Janky design choices led to The Duet not having the best firepower. The few blasters have trouble with their awkward mounting positions, leading to the ship not been the best at locking on to targets.
DESCRIPTION
The Duet takes the term “Ugly” to a who new level.
When a fresh new heap of junk was dropped off outside of Erdish’s shop, the Jawa knew it was time to get to work. Within the trash he was able to locate an Alliance X-Wing Starfighter and an Imperial TIE Fighter, both shipped over from The Great Battle of Coruscant.
Not wanting to let good history go to waste, Erdish went on to mesh the row starfighters together into the ultimate piece of machinery. The thrusters granted the ship surprisingly good speed and maneuverability, but the ship came up lacking in the weapons department. Whoever is piloting the ship has very few weapons at their control, with a majority of the blasters being operated by the gunner pod.
Nevertheless, this vessel could prove to be a worthy stead for those brave enough to take it for a spin.
DESCRIPTION
The Vis Inflexio began as a personal project for Jake Groundrunner. Using his resources within the New Imperial Order, the man developed a new ship that could be used as a high-speed transport vessel. A frequent flyer, he needed a ship that could transport him from system to system, all while staying protect from any Sith encounters. The upgraded weaponry was a favorite of Jake's, especially since they are well-hidden from enemy craft. The Vis Inflexio would serve him for many years. But as time went on, Jake found himself travelling along in bigger corvettes and frigates, negating his need for a personal craft.
Eventually, the transport would be donated to an Imperial Engineering Division, where it's blueprints would be used for new ships. A slightly weaker version of the transport would enter into limited production. Though after a few years the project would be deemed to expensive. And with each passing day, the Empire would lose its grip on the upper Mid Rim. At the time of their collapse, the original vessel sat in a warehouse, collecting dust. Said building would eventually be auctioned off to a private bidder. The buyer wanted to warehouse for his handheld blaster business, so the starships inside were of no use to him. Each would be sold to various individuals, with the Vis Inflexio falling into the hands of Pyrrah Tae
. Exchange Enigneers cleaned up the ship, improving its weapon systems even more. Installing a new hyperdrive, and some new stealth tech, the vessel would make its way over to the Black Market. From there, Caden Evesa
would acquire the ship.
