A shady and conniving yet Ironhearted Imperial, Okono Dukkha is the current chairman of the Imperial Mining Guild, bent on ensuring autarky for the Empire and working towards the economic centralization of the state.

HISTORY
Born to the old money aristocracy of Shili, to a family of staunch Imperials, Okono's career was plotted from a young age.
Attending the University of Ravelin, Okono was educated in resource management and logistics, graduating directly into a military commission as a naval logistics offer. For the better part of a decade he served with the Imperial Navy, eventually seeking an honorable discharge to join the ranks of the Imperial bureaucracy. First working as a clerk for the Imperial Ministry of Labor, he eventually networked his way into a transfer to the Imperial Mining Guild and was granted oversight of an asteroid field mine on the outer edge of the galaxy. In time, he would work up to planetary mining projects.
His successful negotiations with an almost catastrophic miners revolt in the worlds of the Chiss Redoubt, and the reversal of the failing industry there, had him awarded with a prestigious commission as overseer of Beskar mines in the Mandalorian worlds. While a fairly uninteresting or busy appointment in the reign of the Empire given the modern state of Mandalore, the prestige attached to the position allowed Okono to throw his weight around and build lasting connections through the bureaucracy.
In time, Okono would be selected to join the oversight board of the Mining Guild, and after years of strong performance on the board committee and no shortage of political maneuvering he was appointed to the position of Chairman, with a great many plans to revitalize the Mining industry in a fractured Empire.
In his tenure, Okono pledged the support of the Mining Guild to Ignacious Korvan's Imperial Remnant, which ultimately weakened the Mining Guild when opposing warlords sought to seize the guild's capital, or create their own loyal splinter guilds. In response, Okono's mining guild has funneled much of its resources into the Dark Empire, setting up shop for future expansion on the planet Nyriaan.
