Slaves had started fighting alongside the slavers, her entire team was wiped out and make matters worse she couldnt contact her back up

So she decided to make a bet

"Cynthia, you have a massage." Ca said as she made a hologram of herself leaning against the wall.

"Who's it from Ca?" Cynthia asked turning her head just as she was about to pour a drink.

"The message is from Stardust. It says, Cynthia, listen I need your help, I am wounded and on the run from slavers. Mission gone bad if you get this I need your help please, old friend."

Cynthia didn't even bother pouring the drink as she screwed the lid back on tight. "Ca was there coordinates attached to the message?"

"Yes."

"Well take us there fast as possible. I'll be getting my gear ready."

It was almost four hours before the ship was in the system. No doubt by now Star would have hidden and even made a temp fix at her wound. Ca was able to tell Cynthia was worried, not only being able to read her vitals but her movement had changed from the sluggish one she was in.

"Cynthia I though you'd want me to open a channel to stardust."

"Thanks Ca. Star come in. I am in the system now, I need you're new location and an update on the situation."

The ship would rush to the world closing in on the old coordinates. It was a large ship so it was likely that it would attract attention. Slaves looking for a way off world, slavers looking for new product and free ships to expand their empire. This wasn't a world allied to the mandalorian and reports where that this city had been over taken by a criminal organisation. Or that was what the current information was on this world. Either way Ca had full permissions to attack targets that get close or cocky with trying to take them out the sky.

ahhh..ahhhhhh! Bloody hell!"

Screamed as she cauterized a wound shut and panted laying agaisnt a wall to get her breath as she shook her head back and forth glancing around the corner...her comm cand to life and she breathed a breath of relief

thank the force cynthia! Hearing your voice is the best thing today....currently in the run just aghhh... treated a wound but blast does it hurt so much...currently in some alley way im... lost...I'm turning my locator on please...hurry..oh feth

Footsteps and voices was the last thing cynthia would hear, stardust turned and started running turning only to fire at the slavers then busted into a building as she started running through there as she panted heaving even as she ducked into a condemned room and laid against the wall

Pirate and slaves a like eyed that ship yet its size while a treasure was intimidating and it would take a act of stupidly to even dare launch a attack

The ship made a hard turn dropping altitude faster than a Ruping shot from out the sky. "Just hold on a moment longer star I am on my way." The large craft was to big to get in between the buildings to land but she could at least do something. "Cynthia I am picking up thirteen people on the street in pursuit of stardust." "Lock onto them, lets pass over with a strafing run. Turbo lasers and the turret on them. I don't want to leave them any chance. Star If you can get to the top and stay away from the street side. Some of that wall might be missing in a second." In moments the cruiser would fly over unleashing blue fury obliterating anything in its path. Sides of buildings would crumble away from the destructive force of the weapons fire. "Non of them are left Cynthia." "Good work Ca. Star I'll be waiting up top, Ca swing us around please and extend the ramp."

The cruiser turned hard once more as it slowed down to a halt. A ramp would lower down with a half meter gap. Quickly Cynthia pushed herself up from her seat. "Keep it steady Ca I'm going to help star unto the ship." "No problem Cynthia." Cynthia ran fast picking up her shotgun along the way. She'd stop just at the edge of the ramp, any further would pull Ca from the ship to her helmet sending the ship down without a pilot to keep it steady. Her gun remained raised in case anyone other than star reached the top first.

She panted and coughed a bit as she shook her head, blast it hurt.....hearing her comm brough her back to the now as she listened and moved for the center of the build listening to the large cannon fire as she grinned

She started climbing up quickly, however she heard slavers bust into the building and start making her way up as she started moving faster ignoring the pain in her side as she cursed tears forming as she growling and turned firing into a few of them and then turned away heading further up

Stardust primed a thermal det setting it for high yield and tossed it down the steps listening to the boom as she got to the roof seeing cynthia ad dhe staryed towards her hand on her side as she cursed and got to the ramp slowing as she cursed

Cynthia saw as star burst through the door and began rushing towards her. The pink woman reached her arm out as the other held tight onto a small space she could get a firm grip. As she just managed to help star up the ship would lift off. "Ca turn it round and bring this building down." Her arm would slide around the Twi'leks waist. "Come lets get you to my med bay." As they walked together the ramp began closing behind them and the sounds of one of the turrets bled through as it opened fire on the building. "Geez girl, what happened?"

"Cynthia, building destroyed would you like me to get us out of here?"

"Not yet Ca, While we get you patched up whats the location of their base. Ca will give them a supprise. Ohh Star, Ca my AI, Ca, Star my erm Close friend."

"You do know I already know that, I share your memories, and i would say you where more than close."

"Ahh yeah good point. Perks of having the main part of you in my head I guess."

She limped beside her as she heard the cannons going off and smirked knowing that they just took a good number of the slavers out, moving towards the med bay with her she took a bretah and smiled

She ignored the close part, it hurt star to k ow tbat when her former husband left she turned away from everyone including her...very close friend...

let's just say slavers are getting smarter it seems gonna have to go back with a bigger force then a strike team

Cynthia's face was lightly red in the cheeks. After a long time thinking about things gray was the one that rejected her, yet star ― star always had an embrace that was warm. For a long time Cynthia only saw what she wanted to. She now saw it all in a different light. "Ca get us out of here then. We will comeback soon. I want a message put out to Solus trackers to keep tabs on the slavers on this world."

The woman looked towards the twi'lek as she helped her up onto the medical bed. "Lets get you patched up okay. Then we can talk." Cynthia took out one of the bacta sprays she had. It wasn't like she was going to use them herself. In fact Medical supply's she had for herself was kept in her room far away from anything bacta and kolto related. "You okay spraying this on yourself while I stand outside? I'm allergic to it and breathing it in wouldn't be the best thing to breath in."

She joked offering a smirk and quick wink, waiting until cynthia had left she undid her armor and sat it down to the side then took her blood short off and sighed as she sprayed the wound closing her eyes at the sting before sighing at the relief, she checked herself for other wounds and healed them before digging waiting a few minutes before calling out

Cynthia walked in once more blushing at the sight alone. It took a moment to focus away a bit. "Cynthia, your body temperature and heart rate just went up." Ca said teasingly as she projected into the room. "Quiet Ca." Cynthia said with a smirk and rolling her eyes. "Here I got you one of my tube tops that should sorta fit. They are the only things I kinda have, comfortable and what i'm used to." Cynthia also took the time to take her some of her beskar'gam off mostly the top half of her. She'd slowly walk in further and sat besides star as she handed the top to her. "It's been a while since it's just been us together huh. Last time I was on the edge braking down, I'm better now though, thanks to you and my runi vod. How you holding up these days, other than wiping slavers from of the face of the galaxy?" There was a slight worried look on her face, but that was down to not wanting to make anything awkward. A troubled history is something that causes that even though Cynthia held nothing against star. "I have a new clan now." She mentioned with a happy tone. "Distanced myself from clan Raxis so that i could focus on myself and it never felt right to go back. I''ll say though, the mantle of alor is a challenging one I will give it that, but I feel happier.

Surrounded by vod who want to be around me to offer companion ship. It's nice to feel wanted that people want to talk to you. I feel as if I made the mistake of cutting myself off from everything in the past. That was the biggest thing that hurt me mentally, didn't help that I was to stubborn to see how It was impacting me. Ca keeps me company a lot these days though, and Mand'alor keeps me in the field a lot these days. so I am normally busy but it helps to outsource things the clan needs. Thinking about it I heard that we are getting new field rations. Actual fresh fruit and produce, will probably take a while to get into circulation. Need to find out where it's coming from to strike a deal for Solus, unfortunately information about it is on the down low right now."

Stardust had finished healing herself as she sighed and nodded to herself then looked to cynthia as ca spoke causing atar to blush and then grin as she shook her head and took the tube top looking it over...never had she wore one of these

Putting it on stardust felt it was a bit tight pushing her chest up a bit yet was really comfortable, maybe stardust should by a few for the summer time pr even for training feels like it would work better. Sighing she looked over to cynthia as she listened and nodded her head

last time I had you in a room...i was cracking down on a new drug...that was years ago wasnt it...I've been doing good, rubbing two planets, being a mother and wife and yeah taking slavers out...worming with the mandalorians once more feels great...

She looked off remembering it all, then looked to cynthia feeling a pain deep down in her heart. All the lost time she could've had with cynthia now....now stardust could without being held back, a smile formed listening to her as she nodded

we both made that mistake in that regards, cut off those we cared for and buried ourselves in work....but it's good to here cynthia about your clan and about you, I was truly worried for you. Oh? If you need fresh food I can provide some from my planet free of charge

"Time has healed wounds though." She said softly as the woman stood up. "I don't push people away anymore. Those we have in our lives, they are a big part of who we are as an individual." Cynthia looked over her shoulder. "You still are one of the important people in my life star." Her voice remained soft and the words carried weight to them as if her past actions carried a regret. "And yeah that food would go a long way. We mostly want to add variety to our farms. Vanquo seems like it could handle decent veg and fruits."

Cynthia slowly walked towards the door a momentary silence broken by the whoosh of the door. "You coming." The woman began lead the way upstairs. "Layout of the ship is a little confusing at first, but it's quick to learn. Stuff on the bottom floor would probably be more your style. I can show you later." As Cynthia got up the steps she'd turn right walking towards the front of the ship, but that was not where she was taking star just to their right was a kitchen. "I've not got much but you need food in you." Cynthia said just as her own stomach rumbled. "You know I missed you a lot. Every time we was in close proximity we was focused with tasks."

She watched her walk and for a moment was dazed, felt like seeing her for the first time all those years ago. The words hit her as she blinked and stood following as she looked around the ship as they walk

She followed her in and found a seat placing a hand on her side as she winced and sighed

I won't lie cynthia, a part of my heart has ached, ever since we split up. From not being able to actually grow close to you to well...the aftermath and being so busy I just....only now can I see part of my heart i really wanted you

Cynthia was looking in the refrigerator about to take something out, but the words star just said made her freeze in place. She could feel her heart race a mile a minuet. Ca would show up in the kitchen making herself appear as if she was sat on the table. "Technically you both never split up..." Cynthia's face was full blown red unable to move or say a word. "All I know Cynthia still wants you too." the AI said blurting out Cynthia's feeling for her.

"Ca stop, can you leave us a moment." Cynthia took the two Items out, Blue milk and a prepared meal in a container. She'd put them down on the counter till finally both her hands rested on the corner of it. A small low sigh left her mouth as woman's brow furrowed. "She's... right, I do still want you Star, and that scares me a little."

"Right now my heart feels like its going to burst from my chest. I cant tell if that's because you shocked me with what you just said, or that my heart is telling me to leap." Cynthia turned to face Star. "I never stopped loving you and I do still want you Star." Slowly Cynthia moved closer to Star and bent down a little, a hand caressing a green cheek. There was a small smile just reaching the corner of her lips as her head began to lean to the right.

"I'll have to take the leap. I can't deny what I want, nor should I have to." The last few words had turned into a whisper as the woman moved a little closer till her lips was on Stars. The kiss was held for a moment and her lips was familiar to Cynthia. "I'm all yours Star. This time, nothing between us okay." Standing back up straight her red eyes would remain locked onto star for a moment. "Okay I'll get food heated up." It would only take a few moments from heating to dishing it up.

Star looked to ca listening as she blushed deeper and closed her eyes taking a deep breath as she looked to cynthia her heart was beating so fast and so hard star swore she would tear something

Her touch on her cheek feeling those fingers brush over a few scars, eyes closed and her head tilted to the right and met her in the middle years welling up and falling...years apart so much pain and then finally, finally a part of her heart was back yet again

Green eyes stared back into the red ones as she wiped the tears and reached up squeezing her hand then nodded

Cynthia bought over the two plates with half a meat and potato pie with a thick mint gravy to mix the flavors. It was nothing fancy but it was at least homemade. She'd sit next to star with her food and pulled in the chair. "I hope its okay for you. Still not the best cook so I try to stay simple. I also make sure to have meals prepared for a few days ahead in case I gotta rush to places. Like today." Cynthia smiled at star before taking a fork full. "I mean it was worth it. Defiantly worth it." Ca would appear again with a holo image of her self. "Can I come back now?" The woman's red eyes would look at the orange hologram AI. "I suppose." She said with a cheerful smile. "Congratulations are in order I guess. I mean it was only a matter of time. The chemistry between you, ahhh so wonderful."

"Thanks Ca. Although we need to have a serious talk about getting involved in others love lives. Well my love life, you're not in trouble as such okay." She said with a serious tone. "I'll try butt out next time, sorry Cynthia." She said with a regret to her actions. "Thank you, and well, you sorta helped so yeahh thanks for that too." Cynthia was maybe a bit to lenient on Ca, but the AI had not existed all to long and well it was a big responsibility to explain why an action was wrong rather than scold. To show appreciation where the AI did right. Cynthia would take the dishes and putting them into the dishwasher. "So what you wanna do Cyar'ika? Have a couple of drink's, maybe eat a few of my special cookies orrr I could show you my special relaxation room. I mean all three are an option too, but the cookies are before we go down stairs."

Stardust looked over the food and took a deep breath as she gave a big smile looking over to cynthia and chuckled as she got her sileverware and started eating

oh boy you gonna love my meals then, least when I'm at home hahaha usually out on missions I need high calorie ration packs for these babys

She said and patted her legs. She watched ca and cynthia converse as she smiled at the interaction...yes cynthia would be perfect to help take care of brigh she could already see it with how she was handling ca right now. Chuckling she finished her meal and sighed feeling much better now she had some food in her belly

Cynthia had a bit of a devilish grin on her face as she reached up for a plastic container filled with cookies. They was rather large and once again looked home made. When Cynthia said special cookies she meant that they had been laced with pot. Cynthia at first used it to manage the pain of battles that she'd come back from beaten bruised and cut. Yet she came to enjoy the effects of the high. The sense of feeling relaxed, colours seemed brighter. Certain senses even get effected like touch. "It's an acquired taste." She said handing one to star. "It's got pot in just so I have given you warning. Effects wont kick in for like ten minuets or so." Cynthia wasted no time eating hers. It had a soft middle with a crunchy outside making it nice to eat and well nice to keep eating too. She had waited for star to eat hers before taking the twi'lek's hand leading her down stairs.

They'd begin to make their way to the front of the ship. There was only one room they went through and it offered a large pool normally heated due to her dislikes of cold water. The door would woosh open and inside the floor and walls was different to the rest of the ship. It had varnished wood and in the centre of the room a Jacuzzi. Off to the side was a smaller fridge almost hidden into the walls if not for a hole to pull out the sliding cooled rack. "Well here it is." She said with a smirk and undressing. There was no care for her clothes as Cynthia tossed them to the side of the room or even kicked them away. The woman would move over to a panel on the wall setting the Jacuzzi off and then over to the cooler rack taking out a rosé and two wine glasses. "Well my green Star what you waiting for hop on in."

She took the cookie and looked it over feeling it as she looked over towards cynthia..pot...ohhhh that stuff right one of his things she allowed on zeltros course it didn't reau have any harmful effect so she kept it legal

Taking a bite she found it actually pretty good and kept on eating finishing hers rather quickly before feeling her hand being grabbed as she walked with her looking down as she simply smiled. Everything felt good now, she was at peace with her heart today. Looking around the room she gave a whistle and smiled

now this is fancy I love it...maybe I should get one for my freighter I have a small one of course

Slipping off what little she slipped into the hot water sighing out as she relaxed right by cynthia

As Cynthia sunk into the water she could feel the warmth wrap her like a liquid blanket. Cynthia would place the glasses on the side and then take the top off the wine so she could pour the two drinks. The small jets would send bubbles against her side almost tickling but it was mostly nice and relaxing. "It's so nice to just relax, and it's much better to do it with those you love." She said shifting closer to star. Cynthia would twist her body as she lent up to kiss Star passionately. "Star, Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum." She said with such a soft voice almost a slight quiver. "Ni'm gar's jii bal ratiin. My heart entwined with yours never to let you go." Cynthia moved more till her thigh was now the other side of stars legs, Their lips once more locked together in a kiss while her arms wrap loosely around the back of Stars neck.

Cynthia's face was red as she drew hot breaths. Her heart raced and body tingled. The effects of pot had fully sunk in now. All the moment had sapped what energy the woman had. "Damn, wow I missed this." She said panting as she reached for the glass of rosé wine. The bubbles tickled the back of her throat as it went down smoothly. Every passing second Cynthia calmed down gaining her breath back. Her head would rest against stars shoulder feeling incredibly sleepy.
