Old Loyalties and New Friends

Onderon was an interesting planet. Jungles, massive beauty in even the regular buildings. There were many land marks, ruins, and the towns were wonderful to go visit. That perhaps was the very reason Elvira had come here. While she was always eager to train and all, she could always use at least a little time off…

… Maybe …

… So why was she levitating a giant bolder with the Force? … Well, she had to do something while she was here! She was sitting in a group of ruined buildings and was lifting a giant, mold covered boulder off the ground with the Force. Given her age and her current skill level though, she was sweating just trying to do it, the heat of the planet as well was causing her to sweat so much that it looked like she had just gotten out of a river. She had been able to lift the boulder several feet up in about two hours, she wanted to do more but with how much she was shaking she knew she had reached her limit. She let the boulder go. The boulder fell to the ground with an extremely heavy ‘thud’ and she fell onto her back and just looked up at the white clouds in the sky, taking some time off to relax.

After a while of resting, Elvira had returned to the city. The sky was currently purple, it was evening and soon would be dark. Elvira knew she had to find an inn and fast. She was bit carried away thinking about it on the crowded streets and soon enough had bumped straight into another person!

Malgan Market, Onderon

A cool breeze ruffled the dark hair atop the head of the towering humanoid that milled about the streets. Garbed in a comfortable, but professional looking uniform, the blue skinned man pulled the briefcase closer to his form. Wary eyes kept their movement about the crowd, markets were notorious of many things and his mere appearance attracted attention. Granted, he was clothed in a plain fashion, but glowing red eyes and deep blue skin didn't help conceal much of anything. At least they couldn't see the cylinder tucked in his tunic's interior pocket. The lightsaber of an Imperial Knight resided within there, its blade a shining silver of balance and order. With the fall of the Imperium, that colored blade had nearly become extinct, the ethos of that brotherhood were faltering until they would soon cease to exist.

The grey-clad man shifted to cut through a smaller, less populated street. Good. Davin wasn't too fond of large quantities of people unless he knew he had their loyalty. One too many assassination attempts had stripped him of trusting anyone. Hopefully he'd be able to get in touch with Captain Jarvis, the loyal junior officer who'd proven himself more than once back in the Imperium. He was a good man. Perhaps after Davin was finished with this business conference he'd be able to-

Oomph!

Crimson eyes shimmered as something collided against his right arm, dropping the briefcase to the ground with a hearty thunk. A spark of irritation cascaded across the Chiss' features as he brought his gaze to train upon the offender. The slight pang of annoyance disappeared almost as fast as it had arose. Although he immediately felt sympathy for bumping into her, he couldn't help but allow sinister thoughts to permeate his mind. This little girl, probably a teenager, had knocked into him. She was sweaty, had messy hair, and didn't look quite too friendly. Assassin? Mercenary? The mere thought of someone still trailing him locked his jaw in place. He had to say something.

His face softened, his eyes scanning the area, "Are you okay?" There weren't many people here on the street anymore.

Elvira had collided into a humanoid who seemed similar to a Duros. Her reaction to bumping into him was: "Oh! I'm sorry sorry- A-Are you okay??" He had caused the man to drop her suitcase, thus she reached down to get it. Elvira wasn't trusting to strangers, but she meant everybody well when she met them - unless they obviously had issues with them.

The streets weren't nearly as a busy as usual, but they still had some people who passed by on their own businesses. Elvira's eyes were left wide in concern for the man whom she had ran into. Even though she was still a bit sweaty and quite exhausted, her nicer side was still active. She nervously handed the suitcase back to the man.

Before he could even react to being ran into, the girl was already reaching over to retrieve the briefcase, dust it off, and hand it back to the Chiss with nervous gestures. Davin couldn't help put let a grin curve the edges of his lips upward as she stuttered and her words shook. The little child had done nothing of harm, she just scared the mess out of the former Imperial Knight. Though something was off...it felt strange. He gazed into the eyes of the small teen, and the spark flickered once again. Her actions seemed erratic.

"I'm quite fine, thank you," he eased the briefcase into his hand and almost reached out for her. Sweat beaded down from her forehead, she didn't look so well. "I'm more concerned about you," he cocked his head at her, "you don't look so good." Davin tucked the case under his arm and snagged a handkerchief from his tunic pocket and handed it to her. She couldn't be an assassin or a thread to him...could she?
