- Name: The Ologuren
- Designation: Sentient
- Origins: N/A
- Average Lifespan: 100 Years to 300 Years
- Estimated Population: Planetary
- Description: The Ologuren are a primate like warrior species that have a large muscular build to them and are packed with immense muscles supported by sturdy joints within their body. They have a set of tusk protruding from their mouths that can bite through meat or bones if given enough force making it a dangerous weapon if used to chomp down on opponents. They are covered in fur, that is primarily ranging from black to brown and grey but they can be multiple different colors depending on environmental situation. They have a thick hide, heavy and dense skeleton to them. A very thick skull that is useful for headbutting opponents. They have a short and less exposed neck to them, and a thick and stiff spine. They have white eyes with orange pupils.
- Breathes: Type One Atmosphere
- Average Height of Adults:
- Common Ologuren: 1.93 Meters (6'4)
- Savage Ologuren: 2.84 (9'4)
- Greater Ologuren: 3.15 to 4.06 (10'4 to 13'4)
- Average Length of Adults: N/A
- Skin color: White, Brown, Black, Grey, Green
- Hair color: Grey, White, Brown, Black,
- Distinctions: The Ologuren are primate like and have a heavy muscular build. The entire species has a large muscular build to them as they have no females within the population. This is due to being a fungi and organic life form, as once an ologuren die they release tiny microscopic spores that spread into the ground. Giving birth over time to a large number of ologurens at any single point that then crawl out of the ground. Although the younger of the ologuren that are spawned, don't develop as much thick muscles and hide compared to a fully grown adult of the species. They also all have large tusk that come out of their mouths, with the older and more stronger of the species having developed more thicker and broader tusk. And their hair on their body becomes white over time and fully white if they reach the maximum age of 300, but that is small due to their warrior culture.
- Races:
- Common Ologuren
- The Common Ologuren make up the majority of the population on their homeworld, being the workers of the species as a whole. Although not very smart by humanoid standards, they have developed enough ability to craft and forge various tools. These common ologuren sport the typical body shape of being muscular but not overall muscular and typically have brown hair and grey skin attached to them. There mouth tusk are also of a normal size when compared to the savage ologuren and the greater ologuren respectively.
- Savage Ologuren
- The Savage Ologuren make up the warriors of the species, being the most numerous other than the common ones within the tribal structure. They are more muscularly in body size and shape when compared to the common ologuren. They develop more longer tusk to be able to devour more meat and grow in size more until they eventually become greater ologuren. They typically have a range of hair being from black to grey, with the same applying to their skin coloration as a whole. They are not suited for crafting or using construction tools, as they are specifically made to be warriors and little else.
- Greater Ologuren
- The Greater Ologuren make up the leaders and brutes of the species, being the least numerous but the most deadly on the battlefield. They will often lead great warbands of savage ologuren and common ologuren to ransack local towns for loot to bring back to their makeshift tribal hordes. The normal greater ones will have developed larger and thicker tusk to be able to devour more than the savage ologuren, with their hair being a range of color and their skin being a range of color as well. A specially rare ologuren will have developed albino hair or be fully green. The rare ologuren from the tribe will be treated as the head of all the ologuren civilization as a whole. Making them paranoid to an extent because they are slightly smarter than the common and savage ones and will ruthlessly beat the other races into submission to keep them from growing large enough to challenge them in combat.
- Common Ologuren
- Force Sensitivity: Rare
Strengths:
- Rapid Reproduction due to spore spawning biology
- Immense Durability & Strength
- Tough Hide to tank energy weaponry and projectile weaponry
- Grow larger and more powerful the more battles that they survive
- self-economic to support large armies. {IE: The spores of respawning acting like a food source for the rest of the tribe with two different variants, with blue spores spawning plants and editable food and red spores spawning more ologuren. Nevering ending food source for the tribe due to one ologuren spawning 10 more ologuren with the red cells when they die that can be cooked and eaten if necessary and if there aren't enough blue spores going into the ground to grow food although there are a larger number of blue spores going into the ground. }
- Adaptive to New Environments {Considerable less time than normal species to adapt to a new environment, making them able to spawn new settlements within meer hours and making the best use of the new environment to ensure their own advantage on the battlefield.}
- Lower Intelligence compared to the rest of the galaxy
- They sink in water due to their heavy and dense body
- Not able to run for long distance {Although they are incredibly fast when doing burst of speed in a sprint like fashion}
- They are not very fast when walking in general and marching with their armies
- Unable to operate modern technology due to it not having been built specifically for there species {IE: meaning that they can't operate a normal blaster unless someone modified that blaster to fit their hand and simplified it enough for them to understand it}
CULTURE
- Diet: Omnivore <The Ologuren are primarily a meat eater due to their strong teeth and tusk that can slice through thick bone and even armor if necessary. They prefer to eat larger animals than smaller animals due to them providing more food for the overall tribe as a whole. Although they will seek out smaller animals when there is not enough larger prey for them to devour. When there is not enough meat to go around, they have a set of lower teeth that helps them chew through plants and fungus to provide the balance that they need to survive. The main thing that is poisonous to them are berries due to not having developed organs able of breaking them down, due to their body's being engineered over a long period of evolution to break down meat at a rapid pace to provide the energy>
- Communication: The Ologuren communicate through belches' of various different variants to indicate something, a loud belch with beating their fist on their chest will indicate that it is time to engage in combat, another version of communication for them is through various amounts of body language to convey different messages much like standard humanoids would. Occasionally they will beat their chest to show their dominance over another one of their species during the war session, where massive numbers of ologuren gather together to form vast warbands to shake their very homeworld and pillage all that they see. Ologuren do have the capacity to speak crude standard basic, but it is usually spoken by Greater Ologuren who have risen above their lower intelligence kin to have higher level of intelligence but still well below the galactic standard. These greater ologuren lead the vast warbands on raids on the human settlers on their homeworld.
- Technology level:
- The Ologuren are mostly in an highly advanced form of the stone age compared to the rest of the galaxy at this time. They have no access to ships or other advanced weaponry such as disruptors or blasters that are common place within the galaxy. Although they have developed crude versions of these projectile weapons with the use of gunpower that they have learned how to harness. They also have developed the use of metal tools for construction and advance farming techniques to grow the blue spores from dead ologurens. They have access to metal armor and weaponry, crude but effective enough to stop energy weapons and slug projectiles that come there way on the battlefield. More common than not among the ologuren is the bone weaponry that has been enhanced by some means to be able to stand up to a modern vibrosword or even a lightsaber depending on the creature of their homeworld that it came from. They would be far more advanced by this stage, but due to their natural warlike instincts they have developed into infighting as much as they join together in massive warbands under the leadership of a massive greater ologuren to oppose the human colonist on their homeworld who have built deep fortifications and various watchtowers to defend themselves from these barbarians.
- Religion/Beliefs:
- The Ologuren believe in and worship two main deities that being Manu-Kork and Kork-Manu, with Manu-Kork representing the eternal warfare and the spirit of combat when the warbands march to war against the human colonist. Kork-Manu on the other hand is representing their crude level of technology which has managed to win battle after battle but has left observer's baffled as the weaponry that they have constructed should never be able to have been used let alone crafted with any common sense. Below the two main deities' there are smaller ones such as the Great Spider and the Black Snake each having their own Stone Age cults associated with them, with the black snack providing the ologuren with ambush and small level of tactics to use on the battlefield and the great spider providing them with speed and the rapid preproduction that they have. They commonly build totems with the emblems of these deities upon them and supposedly according to eyewitness and legends the deity will provide the warband with a fraction of its power in order to win the day. Crude temples are often constructed with wood and other materials that they can find and will often sacrifice food or others of their kind or a favor from their gods. The ologuren often march in the name of these gods to show them the strength of the species and to prevent the gods wraths upon them.
- General behavior:
- The Ologuren live in tribes of about 100 individuals with more gathering to the tribe if the war session is happening. Due to their constant infighting and war among each other and the human colonist on their homeworld, the typical ologuren grows up from a single red spore that is released once a ologuren dies on the battlefield, typically a ologuren will release 25 red spores and 50 blue spores into the ground. These red spores will function much like a humanoid embyro but at a much faster rate than a humanoid, becoming full grown adults within the ground and tunneling themselves out of the ground to join their original tribe or joining a passing warband as it ravages the country side. Once they are in the tribe, they will be taught by an elder among them and will be sent out into groups of 10 to see if they are the strongest of the species and have the right to survive, due to the ologuren not wanting weakness to be present within the tribe that might cause another tribe to attack and wipe them out. The task is extremely dangerous and only one or two survive, but the good thing is that the others that failed will only spawn more of them over time within the ground. Giving way to another group of hardened ologuren. The Older Males will lead the strongest of the younger ologuren to hunt and fish for food in the rivers and oceans, while the savage variant will be taught how to fight and wield weapons against others of their kind, and often will have use a real ologuren as an unfortunate practice partner where death does happen between them. The building and things relating not to warfare are the responsibility of the common variant who have taught themselves how to craft armor and weaponry and to build crude living quarters for the savage variant. The greater ologuren is the boss of the entire tribe, as he is the strongest and mightiest among them and will lead his elite bodyguard into battle against any foe, be they ally or third party that catches his gaze. Once a session, during the war period the strongest of the younger ologuren will challenge the older and more experienced ologuren to a fight to the death before the entire tribe to determine the right to lead the infighting warrior culture to victory. Normally the older and more experience will win , but there are occasions that the younger variant will have enough smarts to outwit the older one and survive to become the new leader of the tribe. They are generally hostile to new people and species due to their warrior like culture and single minded desire for warfare that often leads to them razing villages and killing everyone inside of the houses, meanwhile ransacking and looting for their leader who's throne sits atop a pile of stolen goods with the more stolen goods meaning that they have more followers and power compared to the rest of the tribes.
The Ologuren Species evolved on the world of Vorskathae IX during the age of the Pre-Republic during the conquest of the galaxy by the infinite empire and enslavement of various species for their growing galactic empire that would soon rise to a position where no one would or could challenge it at its peak. Starting out originally has small plants within the ground and not having the primate type body of today, they would eventually come into contact with the Rakatans having been driven to this world due to the heavy number of human colonist that they could conquer and enslave to fuel the warmachine of the infinite empire as they rampaged across the galaxy. The Rakatans took notice of the plant and figured that it was worth an experiment to see if plants could be combined into a genetically engineered species that would be strong in brute strength and be able to use alongside the flesh raiders against other planets but also dumb enough not to rise up against the infinite empire and their overloads. The first experimentation would take place while the infinite empire was battling the ancient je'daii order, knowing to themselves that an entire species couldn't be generated in enough time to turn the tide of the battle in their favor, the rakatans eventually released the grown specimen they dubbed the Ologuren Mark III back onto their original homeworld which had been changed considerably since they were simply plants.
The Infinite Empire would keep a few small outposts on the world to monitor the results of a new habitat on their creations to see if natural evolution would occur, during this time the force stripping plague would begin to affect the rakatans and they lost their connection to the force, leading to a massive uprising against them by their slave races and eventually retreated to the world of Lehon, descending into tribes that couldn't function their own ancient technology. The Ologuren Mark III now known as just the Ologuren Species would begin to slowly evolve into the creatures of today through the passing of the Ancient Old Republic Era where the Ancient Sith Empire occupied the planet to prevent the republic from doing the same through to the Galactic Empire where a small rebel cell established a canyon base which has now been taken over by the ologuren as the rebels abandoned the base due to growing number of imperial patrols within the sector that the homeworld of the species as in, having been grown for the purpose of fighting all those years ago but having no actual enemy to fight as their masters had abandoned them due to the force plague lead to the ologuren slowly devolve into fighting among themselves and descending into a situation much like on gamorr. Once the human colonist arrived after the clone wars, the ologuren would carry on fighting themselves over time but focus much of their attention on gathering vast hordes to descend down into the forts of the colonist and begin to rapid and pillage everything in sight. The remaining eras the wars would carry on within the planet, neither side gaining the upper hand due to the superior weaponry of the colonist vs the rapid reproduction of the ologuren species as a whole.
To the current events, the House of Moldova from the Industrial World of Spindle VI would arrive above the world in a massive exodus from their homeworld. Due to the Capital City of Halbarrow and the other repulsorlift cities failing in a massive power surge which overloaded the connection cable keeping the cities floating above the world. With much of their industrial capacity now lost and wearing the armor and wielding the hammer of Saint Augustine himself, Monkrove would lead a large number of merchant ships and military vessels to the world of Vorskathae IX after exploring the world and discovering the war between the Ologuren and the Colonist. Once landing on the planet and immigrating a large number of Andronius War Boars from the planet and a few styrosag artillery beast, Monkrove would sign a binding treaty with the colonist in order to set up a new system of government among the colonist and provide a safe haven for the survivors of the massive destructive event. Seeing that the colonist were in need of help, the Household Guardsman of Moldova and the remaining forces of the Spindle VI Security Force would help boost the tide against the ologuren hordes that normally assaulted at this time of the year when the exodus finally made their way to the system. Pushing back the natives to the swamps and other less helpful areas of the planet, Monkrove would establish himself as the sole ruler of the planet through force of arms and then through an elective vote. Monkrove would have taken a new title as the Lord Kreigsmeister otherwise known as the Lord War Minister of Vorskathae IX. The New Office of the War Minister would begin the construction of a barrier to keep the natives in check with establishing several fortifications and watchtowers to guard the perimeters of his new state . Each new war session the natives would push in large numbers against the established military combining the colonist with the remains of the industrial thugs and security forces from their previous homeworld into an army able to stop a large horde in due time. Although they have faced a new adversary in the fact that a new Greater Ologuren is uniting the tribes into a massive warband that has never been seen before, Now Monkrove old and grey from the stress of ruling prepares himself for challenging the mighty Grimskull the Despoiler in open combat for the fate of the world.
