• First In: The Olympia-class is designed to attack first and then ask questions, its speed shall carry it into battle, inflict as much damage as possible and remove itself from the situation before enemy reinforcements arrive.
• Pit Fighter: Even though based around the idea of hitting hard and returning to port, the Olympia-class can take a good amount of punishment before going down.

WEAKNESSES

• Straight On: The speed of the cruiser is related to his sublight and hyperdrive speed, its manoeuvreability is not very great and it profits from working in a group or being protected by escorts.
• Too Many: This cruiser class only has a minimum fighter screen to keep it alive, dedicated strike craft attacks will overwhelm its defenses eventually.

DESCRIPTION
The Battlefleet Vandemar is the military naval arm of the Vandemarians, established by the High Imperator many centuries ago, it was designed to maintain the sovereignity of the Olympian System as well as providing training, experience and a possibility to participate in the wars of the Galaxy as well as protecting the small realm from them. Developed based on various experiences and influences, the Vandemarian navy is a well supplied and highly trained combat force.

The Olympia-class Heavy Cruiser is the offensive standard cruiser of the line, an anti-capital ship attacker built to jump in and cause massive damage on enemy vessels while it is accompanied by capable escorts and carriers to make up its weaknesses. Its main armament is focused on a combination of turbolasers and ion cannons supplemented with megamasers to engage targets further away as well as concussion missiles to announce its attack with drums and trumpets.

Built with a similar armor layout like the Legions vessels, it is very capable to withstand heavy punishment without sacrificing vital parts of the ship. Even when the armor is breached and weapons disabled, the ship will still bring its crew home. Vandemar has a limited amount of manpower and is focused on protecting it.
