Omega Events

So I was wondering who is where in the Omega Event? Matthias and I, along with several Navy officers will be partaking in the fleeting thread. By Valiens estimations there will be 200,000m of ships, the Commonwealth will only make up 3000m of that, between myself and Matthias. We'll definitely be against the ropes there, outgunned and outnumbered. Just how we like it [x].

Others such as [member="Isaac Knight"] has expressed their interest in the ground battle. Dean Letham, Commander of Fireteam Black and a member of Section Zero will be in the DM thread, I was curious who else plans to be in the DM thread so we Commonwealth buddies can stick together and look out for each others necks?

Because I'm helping run the event with my main, I won't be participating, IC.

[member="Nara Basaar"] the ground battle definitely involves large troop movement, so you'd get to be running not just yourself and a squad, but a lot more. It's the least popular of the threads, so there's a lot of room (imo) to really stand out there. I.e. it's a great thread for any of the other folks who are on the fence to get together and have the CW potentially shine.

Something I mentioned in chat- If there's anyone who doesn't feel like one of the "official" threads works for them, there's room for "unofficial" threads. So that still might be worth doing a CW unofficial thread of some sort if folks want to. Again, to have our name prominent in the forum.

Also, currently from what I can see we're currently only using frigates. Considering your ship is a carrier, Allison. Will your teams ship be loaded with any of our fighters?

Follow Horus' lead, we'll be staying on standby and letting the big boys strike out while we mop up smaller targets, corvettes and so forth. We'll concentrate on wiping out as many small fighter craft and corvettes as possible. Use the big Mandalorian ships as shields, stay behind them for cover. Don't try and go out and take on someone on your own, we all need to stick together as a cohesive unit.

I haven't specified, though it is 18 rated, which is 2 off the highest rating for a heavy frigate. So there will be a lot of firepower.
