Omega Protectorate commendations are awards given out to members of the Protectorate, both military and civilian, who have shown dedication to the cause that goes above and beyond the call of duty. Actions reflecting bravery, honour, self-sacrifice and heroism will be rewarded by the Protectorate.
How it works:
Any character of any rank can be nominated for one of the following awards.
Please include the nominee's name, which commendation they are being nominated for, a brief description of why, and a link to the thread where the events have occurred.
To verify this nomination, two members of any rank must agree that the nominee has earned the commendation. In a change from the original rules, you may nominate yourself, but please refrain from doing this too frequently or too often, and you still need approval from two other members. Remember, these are awards for your RPing, and it is good to earn them from other RPers, not by nominating yourself.
Once you have been verified, the commendation will be added to your bio thread (either by Cira, Ayden, or by yourself, but please be aware that these are awards and part of the fun, so please do not add them if you have not earned them and they have not been approved).
Some commendations you don't need nomination for, as they are simply decided by participation in threads. These include Dominion commendations (such a for dominions) or commendations for your role in certain branches (for example, there are ones for trainee, adept and elite in branches). If you know that one of these applies to you, but you haven't had it added to your bio, just write here with a link to the RP and it will be approved. This also applies for the Protectorate Heart, Combat Action and Combat Veteran commendations.
As these commendations exist to encourage more RPing and more participation, you are only eligible for awards that occurred in threads. So please do not nominate yourself or others for things they claim to have done but there is no thread for. Obviously, you can't be nominated until you've started RPing on SWRP Chaos.
If there is an idea for a commendations that is not featured here but you would like to see, please feel free to suggest it either here in this thread or in a PM to either staff or myself. After discussion between members if everybody would like to see it, it shall be added.
Please keep your eyes open for new commendations coming soon, hopefully some themed on the more fun aspects of our characters that may not strictly be canon military commendations.
