Things to know:

This works like a Weekend Treasure Hunt - I won't be DMing anything unless people act the fool.

Feel free to invent details about the mysterious aliens and their ship of doom. So far we know they live at 2 gravities, see in the infrared, and breathe methane, plus their language is - so far - untranslatable. Their technology is totally alien and very powerful. We're outmatched in a serious way.

Jorus may not be playing a huge role in this. He sent his distress call and hid: the main focus of the thread is the aliens.

This thread takes place in a nameless colony system within the territory of the Kathol Republic, a small canon government in the Outback. The Kathol Republic is one of the strongest bodies in the region and friendly to the Underground.

Coryn is not quite a member of the Kathol Outback, but neither does he wish to involve himself in the current drama surrounding his family; given that he even knows what is going on. Raxis doesn't seem to be a popular name out there right now in the vast emptiness of the galaxy, so I hope you don't mind me jumping in on this thread as Coryn.

He has his own ship. If that counts for anything.

Go for it. I'm pretty fluid. Fair warning, he doesn't know any of his family outside of Vassara, whom he didn't even realize was family -- and has yet to realize. So, he might be hesitant to believe or trust you. He's been alone the better part of his life.
