On the Hunt, I'm After You (Mit Tuxaire, Adenn Gra'tua)

My life had been completely turned upside down when I arrived here on Courascant. I was taken in from one life as a slave to another, though this new one had more prospect. I'd become a servant and a student to the hulking beast called Kezeroth, a monsterous thing that wanted to use my abilites with the force and teach me how to use them properly; or at least what he considered as such. I was in it for the power, which I planned to use in my own way once I was strong enough. But until then I still had duties to perform.

As part of my servitude I was sent to buy grocceries and the like for Keze. I hated that I still had chorse to do on top of everything else. I was a clone created by Jedi and used by Sith. A product of a number of well paid scientists and Jedi who wanted to bring back an old master from the time of the Clone Wars before being accumulated with the DNA of Sith. I was a freak and yet I knew better. I was something that had the potential to be great. But even the great had to start out small.

In Courascant's Undercity, one of the higher levels, I was making my way through the market place. I had to wear large robes that dragged with a hood to cover my face. It was the only clothes allowed to me for the time being. All else I had was my slave outfit underneath, a bikini-like dress that might as well have been my underwear. It was still a reminder of what I was: a slave. But soon I knew I would be more, in time.

For now I just had to figure what fruit would be decent enough admist all the meat I had to buy.

I didn't want to hunt this clone, really I didn't, but when some hidden contractor tells you that this slave girl was more valuable than yourself, want has nothing to do with it. I was in this for credits, I was in it for the fame of capturing this clone but first. There was a hunt to complete. I asked around, and finally I knew where the girl was. She was in those ridiculous jedi robes, strolling down the street like she owned it.

I stayed in the shadows, I had come ready for a clean operation, I could never have known that a fight was soon to begin. I followed the slave as she walked past stalls and stores, my black cloak disappearing behind buildings the same instant that it reappeared. I had a dagger hidden in the folds of my cloak, and my rifle was slung over my back. I took to the rooftops and stayed directly above her. She may have seen me but she seemed to distracted to notice. Once I was caught by an idiotic man lounging on the roofs. With a swish of my cloak and a jab of my dagger, the man fell.

I was on the hunt.

Yet again, Adenn Gra'tua was on one of the lower levels of coruscant searching for his target, a high value one according to the man the bounty hunter had talked to, he also gave a small description (to what information he had) of the persons appearance, a woman with brown hair and blue eyes, among other physical traits which was helpful, along with what that woman might be wearing: either a skimpy underwear like outfit or a robe covering that, unless the bounty hunter was unlucky and she had acquired more clothes.

Adenn walked the lower levels in his full armor, not really subtle, but it gave the man numerous advantages over the slave he was after, like 360 degree vision, full body protection and a jet pack, most likely overkill but he might as well not underestimate one bounty because he didn't do so for the rest. In a very unprofessional way the bounty hunter had removed the hood off of two other civilians, slowing him down only for a moment though, since he now realized what he hadn't before, the woman wouldn't have any clothes underneath the robe (if she was wearing it), so she would be holding it closed, most likely, but it still would be easy to find her, considering he only had to look for two types of people. While continuing to look over all the surrounding civilians in the recently entered marketplace Adenn spotted someone in a black cloak standing on a nearby building, strange behavior, unless he was hunting someone too, since the bounty hunter had done the same thing in the past, quickly following his gaze the man saw another robed person in the crowd, but he could only make out the head from his current position, he quickly started moving through the crowd with his eyes on the robes 'Maybe I should have brought my normal clothes and but some armor underneath, because if that guy up on the roofs is looking for the slave, and this person is her, then he probably will notice me very quickly.' Adenn though, glancing back up to the man.

I couldn't stop thinking about all the damn food I had to buy. Given how big Keze was it made more sense if I'd just brought home a live bantha or something and let him eat that. Not have to drag around all this food in one huge bag. Ugh. It was so frustrating at times I just wanted to...

Oh. My thoughts were taken back to reality when I sensed something. It felt odd. Like something was coming for me. Maybe more than one somethings. I wasn't sure. At least the Force had given me a sort of danger sense that the Jedi and Sith had, there was of sensing trouble even from all the way across the galaxy. Right now, however, I was concerned with the fact that it was near me.

I glanced around before seeing someone. A heavily armed man pushing his way past the crowds of people. A bounty hunter most likely. And I could figure what the bounty he was looking for was. I had to get away. I needed some seclusion to either slip away or at least out smart this guy. I found the nearest alley, which was a little bit darkened due to the lack of light, and hurried in. Given my cloack I knew it would make for the perfect cover. Now there was just the matter of getting somewhere I could hide away from him. As I hurried in I tried looking about, hopefully a hubble or even a pile of garbage would do at this point.

Thankfully I'd found a decent spot among a bunch of other beggers in the alley. Some tried begging me before I shushed the and pulled the ratty blanket off one. I used it and warrped it around me, even with the robes on, to try to blend in if the guy managed to follow me.

I hopped from building to building, keeping pace with the target easily. Once I nearly slipped, the jump had been farther than I had expected. I hit the ledge with a thud, hopefully no one wold be able to hear it with the crowds down below.

When the girl started to run from the armored guy I had seen walking towards her, I knew there was a bit of competition out for this target. When she went into the shadows and lost the big bruiser though, she had made a mistake. The instant she was in the darkness, she was in my territory. I dropped down silent as a cat and crouched behind a wall, No. I wasnt going to make my move yet. Not until I could be sure the big guy had lost the trail. I didn't need a fight.

'Shab, I moved to quickly... And still, I'm not sure who that is, only one way to find out though.' Adenn though while he moved past the last few people in front of the alley that the cloaked person ducked into, it was dimly lit so it had the possibility of hiding someone, if there wasn't nightvision and thermal vision modes in the mans' helmet, quickly the bounty hunter moved his eyes over the small icon in his HUD, activating the nightvision before scanning the area quickly noticing the group of beggars as he switched to thermal, scanning the area again. After a moment he moved towards the small group, turning off the thermal vision, before he looked at them slowly reaching into a small pouch on the back of his armor before pulling out a credit chip, one with 500 credits on it "Someone just entered this alley, this credit chip goes to whoever tells me where they went." Adenn stated, looking over the beggars again, strangely not noticing the hooded person sitting right in front of him, even though the hood was what made the bounty hunter notice them.

Dammit. I knew I shouldn't have put my trust in any beggers. As soon as he started waving around the cred shit they pointed me out. He graoned before standing up and dropping the ratty blanket off of me. After that I wasted no time and just delivered a force push to the bounty hunter. I needed to get away from him and fast. And, just for selling me out, I sent another to the beggers, toppling them over and sending them back against the wall nearby. That would teach them not to sell anyone out when they're trying thide again.

I looked around, trying to find an escape route, before seeing the fire-escape leading up to the roofs. Maybe I could escape there. Taking a quick look back just to see where the hunter was I made my move. I jumped up onto the ladder and started climbing up. Though it would've been faster had I not had to deal with the damn robes always getting caught on my feet. Next time I wear shorter robes.

When the girl slammed the beggars against the wall, I did grow a bit worried. I was never informed that this slave was a force sensitive... Never the less, when she started up the fire escape onto the roofs I made my move, From the shadows I lunged out and slammed the girl against the wall. Drawing my knife I pinned her down and smacked her in the side of the head. While she was recovering from the sudden attack I spun her around and placed my knife over her throat.

If she tried to escape, there was a long fall between her and the ground. The only thing that could possibly get in my way, was that bounty hunter.

Quickly the location of the slave was revealed to Adenn, who quickly tossed the credit chip to one of the beggars before he reached down to grab the woman, but it seemed something was either hidden from the bounty hunter or was not known, she was a force user, and she had sent the man into the wall across the alley, leaving small cracks from the force of him hitting it. As quickly as he could, Adenn started getting to his feet, before he was hit by one of the thrown braggarts, which forced him to recover again, pushing away the man that had knocked him down the bounty hunter got to his knees before he grabbed his left side pistol, which it's holster was designed so his right had would have the easiest time grabbing it, before the man took aim and fired off two silenced shots, missing both the slave and the man following her

"Should've told me she was a force user." Adenn said, re-holstering the pistol before checking the vibroblades on both gauntlets, as they were quickly checked for any malfunctions the bounty hunters jetpack activated, sending him towards the top of the building that both the two people had just climbed "Now I know why that guy wants her." quickly sheathing the hand mounted blades while soaring Adenn grabbed his right side pistol, taking aim at [member="Mit Tuxaire"], almost instantly noticing that he was holding the slave at knifepoint he didn't fire, since he was still in midair. The bounty hunter landed with a thud, one hand on the ground for balance, slowly rising up the man took aim at the two, before drawing his second pistol with his left hand and doing the same "That was pretty sneaky of you." Adenn said, turning so his right hand was further forward than the left "But I know there is no reason for you to be holding that knife to her throat," he continued, smiling underneath his helmet "As you probably won't use it anyways, because if you are after her you probably need either the money or the rep, and I don't think you want to lose either."

I'd only managed one of the landings before some guy in a hat had appeared almost out of nowhere and pinned me against the wall. If it wasn't for the fact that the hit was pretty hard then the fact that I'd knocked my head as well made me groan. Not that I had much time to try and regain my senses before he hled a knife to my neck. Dammit! This was a chilidh mistake I'd made.

And yet a sort of saving grace had come in the form of the other bounty hunter who now had his guns pointed at the both of us. I looked back between him and the guy with the had, my eyes peeking from under the dark shades of my hood. Now things had taken a more tensious turn. I wanted to make a move but I knew the slightest flinch and one of us, or all of us, would end up making a big mistake.

While the hunter made his threats I tried looking around as far as my eyes could see. I could ethier risk going back down into the alley and deal with the hunter or try making for the ladder that lead all the way up to the top of the building. Two tough choices as both had risks. I guess that would depend on the next move either of them would make.

I dug the knife into the slave's throat. Not nearly enough to hurt her, but I was worried about that hunter... "We both need her. Drop your weapons." I shouted. I kept the slave in between me and the hunter.

"Dont even think about running." I whispered into the girls ear. "You run, you either fall, or you get shot on the spot. Stay still."

@Fenri @Adenn Gra'tua

"Maybe you should reconsider," Adenn spoke again, the other mans comment drifting over his head "Since I've got two guns pointed at you... And I'm not afraid of shooting through that slave to hit you, or losing the bounty, but I'd prefer not to." The bounty hunter stopped, observing the situation, and deciding wether or not it actually was worth losing this bounty just to kill a man "But, since I'm in the negotiating mood, I will put my weapons down." Slowly, Adenn leaned down with his pistols aimed upwards before placing them on the ground, then the man took his two other weapons and placed them on top of the pistols, he then took three steps away from them "Now, why do we both need that woman?" Adenn asked the other man.

I hissed when I felt the blade drawn closer to me, even to where I could feel something hot dripping down. He made me bleed. The hat wearing bastard. Yet clealry he was the one with the cards in all his hand for now. He'd managed to make the bounty hunter drop his guns, giving both he and I a slight advantage. But I intended to have the greater one.

I waited until the one with the hat was busy talking with the hunter before looking and spotting a ladder kept up by a lock on the landing above us. Given where it was it would knock him away from me in time to make a break for it. I reached out with the force, after taking one final look to see the two still talking about why they wanted me, before I'd managed to realse the lock.

When the hat wearing assassin was forced away from me I made another move. I removed my robe, revealing my slave outfit, before tossing it towards the bounty hunter to keep him preoccupied. With enough space I ran for the ladder and started climbing up as fast as possible.
