On the subject of multiple masters...

I have yet another question to ask as my threads seem to be slowing down. I know it is possible for a character to have multiple masters (I'm assuming). How would one go about that? I'm not very familiar with Jedi/Sith training anyway, but if someone were to have multiple masters then should it only be one at a time or could it be all at the same time? And is it considered a 'bad thing' to have multiple masters?

Sorry if my questioning is a bit vague, I'm just sort of looking for an explanation on how someone would go about having multiple masters teaching them about the Force.

I have never really written a character with a Master. What Kana learned she picked up from many different masters in the Jedi Order back in the Old Galactic Republic faction was still a thing. Technically there is nothing stopping you from having two masters, Anakin technically had two of them. Obi-Wan and Palpatine. It's more a question of if you can balance a healthy timeline (if you care about that) as well as, of course, the other master's willingness to write such a thing.

That's a bit of a gray zone. Would one master appreciate that another is ranking up his apprentice before they feels he is ready? As long as both masters have some sort of communication about it beforehand there shouldn't really be any issues.

In a bigger picture to an RPJ a knight/master nomination is just another nomination. All they really care about is that the votes required (for Master) is met with majority within the faction before raising it to others RPJs.

Catherine Never had a set master for long due to stuff IRL having them leave I guess. Anyways she learned form many different knights and masters overall and still earned a higher rank. But I woudl agree communicate just to be sure. It never hurts to talk to them so at least they don't feel in the dark about it.

[member="Myles Vylumnar"], You can have one, two, or even no masters for you. It all depends on your story. However, if you want two masters to learn different things, then it would be selfish for one of those masters to hog you and say, "No, you can't become better without me." That is more Sith, or Dark Jedi like in my opinion. And it shows they have trust issues.

If you have two masters, then all you have to do is organize how your timeline will fix itself to match.

The rest everyone else has answered already.

And don't worry. Its better to ask questions, even if they are "stupid" rather than assume, and be wrong.
