What she could do in her head, she had already done, she could no longer train more under a day because her non-human stamina would have been too striking. Two things were forbidden to her, communication with the outside world and getting out of here. If she had wanted to, none of them could have been prevented, but she was probably the best prisoner in the Galaxy. She was perfectly alone, and with Adrian in her mind, of course.

Ingrid didn’t really have anything to do today, so she decided to watch series and holofilms. Didn't even remember when she last had the time or opportunity for such an activity. This was not very accurate; she knew exactly, but she hadn't had time for years. Roughly since Tacitus disappeared. Then she hadn't been in the mood since Adrian's death.

But now that she could watch movies with him, the opportunity was already more appealing. With him… it was just a completely realistic hallucination, no more. The Empress lay down on the couch in the living room, placing a pillow under her head. So it was all as if she was holding her head on Adrian's thigh. In fact, in the world in her mind, she did so, so to her it was as if they were filming together. They could not take this from her, without this she would not have endured the pain.

In the living room lay various sheets of paper with blueprints on them. Different buildings, both residential or office buildings. She did nothing to reveal her true knowledge. Therefore, Ingrid did not plan a military building, armour, or even a weapon on paper. She prefers cottages. But today she didn’t feel like it either and scattered everything. Today was a worse day, she wanted to cry, but she knew she was being watched, so it could only remain a dream, even today.

Watching the series was eventually distracted by the arrival of another visitor. She paused the movie and sat up on the couch. Who is her visiting today?

Two figures strode down the long hallways of a Ministry of Justice maximum security prison. One of the men, dressed in a drab uniform with a collection of code cylinders jangling on his belt, led the way toward one of the complex’s largest and most secured areas. The other man, dressed more garishly (and possibly ironically), following in the wake of the prison warden, his gaze drifting between the various heavy cell doors which lined the hallway, a grimace on his face betraying his concern about what laid on the other side.

The pair arrived at the entrance to the cell at the end of the hallway. The warden inserted a code cylinder and twisted it, and in response, the heavy blastdoor slowly retracted into the ceiling. “Are you sure you don’t need an escort? She’s dangerous.”

Aerarii Tithe shook his head. “My good name, if she meant either of us harm, ahh, well we wouldn't be here conversing.”

The Vice Chancellor entered the cell and was immediately struck by how well-appointed it was. Far from a sterile space, the cell has been decorated to match a well-appointed apartment. Clearly, it was used to house prisoners who the Alliance thought they could strike a deal with. Tithe followed the sound of a holoprojector into what appeared to be a living room.

“Empress, a pleasure as always,” he said with a slight bow of his head. “I hope you don’t mind me dropping by. I would have called ahead, but, you know, I figured it was a safe to assume that your schedule would be wide open.”

Ingrid didn't watch the auras in the Force, so she didn't know who was entering the "cell." Truth be told, she was expecting some GA agent, a Jedi, or just another COMPNOR agent. After that, it was a very big surprise that it was Vice Chancellor Tithe who arrived. She immediately got up from the couch and greeted the man with a nod.

"Vice Chancellor, I'm glad to see you too! I didn't expect you here!"

She said, then held out her hand to the man. The movement was interrupted and she quickly stepped back two and dropped her hand to her side. It took a moment to realize that it was not some kind of official meeting, but a prison visit. And she was the prisoner…

"Sorry, I don't want them to think I want to hurt you."

She looked in the direction of the cameras for a moment, then back to Tithe. Ingrid reached into the Force and with telekinetics flew all the paper on the ground into her own hands, then set the pile of paper on the table.

"I also apologize for the mess. It is not my habit to leave anything apart. Please take a seat!"

The Empress pointed to one of the armchairs. If the man sat down, then she chose the other armchair opposite to be further away, but not too much. She smiled faintly at Tithe's words; the man was one of the few where the woman was able to show emotions as well, ones that were not only due to her acting skills, but were honest.

"Well, my schedule has been being drawn up by COMPNOR agents lately, there are times that a torture can take place in the morning, but there are times when they only have time for it before dinner. They are worse than my own assistants." She replied half-seriously, part of the torture was real. "But yeah, I’m basically not too busy. Can I owe you this relatively free space? If not, you have lousy intelligence agents that you dared to allow me to do this, or… or did you really believe what I promised Lord Hans Rennagen Hans Rennagen that I would not try to escape."

Here she paused for a moment so the man could answer, but then continued.

"What do I owe your visit to, Vice Chancellor? Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad to see you. Your company is refreshing, especially after a lot of not-so-smart agents."

Tithe took the seat offered to him by Ingrid as she tidied up her cell, which based on the exquisite furnishing, was certainly one of the best appointed in the Alliance, if not the galaxy. And yet, it was still a cell, complete with omnipresent surveillance technology. IVI IVI and her intelligence officers had no doubt devoted hours to studying every movement of the Empress for leverage in their discussion with her.

It marked this as one of their most unusual meetings, and Tithe and Ingrid had certainly had plenty of those.

“COMPNOR,” he repeated after her. What words could he use which do justice to the work of Jaeger Harrsk Jaeger Harrsk and his shadowy influence operation? Fanatical? Unconscionable? Dogmatic? “COMPNOR can be, ah, pertinacious.” The midnight men had a well-deserved reputation of doing whatever necessary to get to job done. That they were permitted to practice their dark arts within an Alliance prison on Coruscant, free for the constraints and rules the Alliance’s SIA had to operate within, spoke to the importance of Ingrid’s imprisonment.

“Well, I was hoping we could come to an arrangement,” he explained. “These lodging, while pleasant enough, are certainly not worthy of a woman of your station. Yes… I was hoping that we could find some common ground on which we could work together.”

“You may find this hard to believe, but I have no desire to drag out our war with the Sith. Wasteful, is what it is, and my dear - I don't invest in wasteful ventures. Bringing this to a decisive end would be a boon, to both our nations.”

The woman had no doubt that she was being observed at every moment, in every possible way. That's why she disguised herself as human. Ingrid was also able to control her body perfectly, so when she pretended to sleep, they could measure values from her as if she were really sleeping. She hadn't even tried to sleep since Adrian's death, because when she closed her eyes, she always saw her dead husband. Nor did she reveal much about herself because of the observation. They may have learned about it that she is able to control her body on a master level, what she allows others to see. The red-haired woman mastered every movement of her body, her body language perfectly, often not making any unnecessary movements, only what was optimal. A perfect and deadly assassin.

"Yes, they really are. If I knew I would ever go home from here, I would ask one of them to be my assistant, they have a lot of talent to make the schedule."

Another more frivolous statement referring to her current situation. She didn’t deal with stress like that because she wasn’t nervous or tense about it. Common arrangement. The man still didn't understand. This now meant more to the woman than some states…

"You misunderstand me, Vice Chancellor, I do not want to end the war because of the Eternal Empire or the Sith Empire. But for the sake of the Galaxy. Fortunately, Blackwatch works quite efficiently, so it’s unlikely that much information has reached beyond the Eternal Empire’ borders, but…"

She paused for a moment; for this moment the woman looked tired.

"As I mentioned in our previous negotiation, the Bryn’adûl attacked us from the north before the Dantooine invasion attempt. This means they have passed through TSE, SJC, CIS and GA territories. And that is infinitely worrying. I believe you too can imagine the consequences of it, if the Bryn’adûl wading through the areas left in the chaos because of war. Hundreds and thousands of worlds could perish. I am primarily a soldier beside being an assassin, educated and trained to protect civilians and give my life for them as well. This is still my goal and interest. Defending the Galaxy from the greatest evil… That’s why I don’t care about the Third Civil War anymore, I just can't let the GA and the NIO could demolish and destroy the bastions that protect the rest of the Galaxy…"

She said seriously and let Tithe read to her if the man could do it. Ingrid was completely honest, so she was ready to sacrifice her life to this goal.
