Pop Quiz for anyone nearby. What happens when you kick a badger in it's rump? What happens when you annoy a feral cat? Well, there's consequences of course. The same is also true when you annoy the vigilante Archer by blowing his civilian identity all over the news. Said consequences had led to him going off planet for a while only to return and capture one of the members of Corpos covertly without getting caught in a new suit of armor of his own design. Well, he was attempting to capture the individual anyway. Specifically he was using the Crow in order to control a few dozen battle droids he had purchased off planet, B100s that had once been used by the Trade Federation. He had equipped them with his own custom made blasters that his company mass produced now, upgraded versions of Darlene to be precise. "You know, it would be oh so much easier and less painful for all of us if you didn't resist." Taji stated as he pulled out a couple of hand guns. Normally he was the type to use bow and arrow but not this time as he'd been genuinely ticked off. After all he could never be Archer again thanks to what Corpos had done.

So he was going to teach them a lesson about what happened when you stole an identity from someone like that. Okay, so maybe he was just going to test an experimental weapon on one of theirs in order to broadcast across Denon that Archer was back. "Get him." The droids spoke. "Roger Roger." They began unleashing stun blasts at the individual.

"You would have been proud of me," Said Debbis Endo from his seat across Beltran Rarr. The former-the public CEO of Obsidian Star Technologies and Aerospace, and the latter-the true owner of the company sat facing each other in the back of a sleek, black speeder limousine. On the other side of the tinted windows, Beltran could see the ever-present flashing neon lights of Denon's business and pleasure districts.

"How's that?" Asked Beltran, smoothing out his suit jacket and taking a sip of his bourbon.

He had only arrived back on Denon earlier that day, taking leave of his studies at the Silver Jedi's temple on Kashyyyk. His extended leave of absence from the Antarian Rangers was also coming to a close, so this had been the only time he knew he'd have free to come check on his holdings here. Things were heating up with the Bryn'adul on the border and odds are he and his unit, Icarus Platoon, would soon be deployed to the front.

"Well," Endo replied. "There's this vigilante wannabe who goes by the name Archer. He'd given us issues in the past...stealing shipments and the like. A couple of weeks ago he hit one of our offsite warehouses and got into it with Corporate Security, who arrested him. Anyway, while he was being held I was able to get a hold of his identity and I plastered it all over Denon."

Beltran's eye quirked and he tilted his head, speaking slowly. "You said 'while he was being held', as in he's not being held currently?"

"Well no... Corporate security released him."

With a sigh, Beltran shook his head. "Endo, the next time you have a problem like this don't take it upon yourself to handle it. Call me, or our friends in Darkwire and they'll handle it."

"I-I don't understand." Endo stammered. "What should I have done?"

"You should have ensured that a blaster bolt was placed in the back of his head." Beltran replied, his tone remaining as emotionless as it always was. "Not piss him off and then let him go on his merry way. Now he's going to hit us again."

"I-I didn't think of that."

"I know you didn't. You said you have his identity, find out if he has any family, any friends, anybody who looked at him longer than five minutes. Then dispatch Aura Red, I want them all dead by the end of the week. Everybody."

As the speeder limo turned onto another street, heading toward The Spire, it suddenly began to slow and then came to a stop.

"Sirs?" The voice of the driver called through the intercom. "I think we might have a problem."

Looking out the window, Beltran saw dozens of Clone Wars era battle droids surrounding the armored speeder. Without warning, they began to fire on the speeder.

"The armor is holding for now, but it won't last long under this barrage." The driver said.

With a dirty look at Endo, Beltran sighed and keyed a small panel, revealing a hidden compartment where a pair of OS-104 Reaper Pistols were housed, along with a few thermal detonators. Taking each, he keyed them for full automatic fire and called back to the driver. "Open the sun roof, I'll clear you a path to escape."

A second later, the sun roof opened and Beltran stood up through it. He opened up with his dual automatic blaster pistols, spraying the entire area and hitting several of the droids. He then keyed one of the detonators and threw it in front of the speeder. He was about to duck down into the speeder when one of the stray stun blasts caught him in the chest, sending his world into darkness...

***

Debbis Endo watched as Beltran Rarr slumped over, his upper half still sticking out of the speeder's sun roof. Finally his moment had arrived, it was time to get out from underneath the psychotic Lorrdian who'd controlled him and his business for too long. Getting up, he grabbed Beltran's legs and heaved him up and fully onto the speeder's roof. He then closed the roof and called to the driver.

"Let's go! Go! Go! Go!"

***

As the speeder accelerated forward, pushing through the hole that Beltran's detonator had made in the droid force, the Lorrdian's limp body rolled off of the roof and onto the ground. There he would lay, unconscious as the droids closed in on him while the speeder, and Debbis Endo, got away.

"Well, well, well," said Taji as he ordered one of the droids to pick up the individual and carry them to a warehouse on Denon that was isolated. He had him tied to a chair. "Looks like you're my guest now." He stated as he looked at the unconscious individual.

"But now, since you're going to be my guinea pig, I suppose I should test my first ever drug on you, I call it Horror." He said, when the individual awoke. "So, before I begin do you have any medical conditions?" He asked, as he looked at him. "After all, I'm not the murdering type and want to be sure before I make you a guineapig for the drug I'm going to use on you. " He had a frown on his face as he pulled out a yellow vial and loaded it into a needle. He had a wicked grin on his face. "Maybe Corpos will enjoy the drug as well once I start dosing them with it, after I test it on you."

Taji smirked as he looked at the individual. "You're about to learn the true meaning of fear." He smirked again. "I do hope you enjoy."
"What will it be?" asked Taji, as he looked at him.

Beltran blinked, coming to slowly. He'd been stunned before and he knew what coming out of it felt like, so before he made it obvious that he was awake, he did a couple of things. The first thing he did was slowly tense his arms and legs, testing the strength of the bonds that had been used to tie him. His captor, ostensibly the man code-named Archer, had begun some kind of melodramatic monologue.

Slowly, the Lorrdian opened his eyes and saw the man walking corpse that stood in front of him, talking.

"Medical conditions?" Beltran murmured, still groggy. "Nothing serious, certainly nothing like you're going to experience once I'm finished with you."

As the man kept talking, running his mouth really, Beltran took a look at his immediate surroundings. Several of the droids that had ambushed him remained nearby in what appeared to be a warehouse of some kind. That would be a problem that he would have to figure a way around. When the man finally finished talking, Beltran finally made eye-contact.

"Fear hmm?" He said, projecting his voice so that is appeared to be coming from behind Taji Nelson, and then to his left, and finally to his right. Menacing ghostly whispers. "Let us find the true meaning of that together, shall we?"

"Oh?" asked Taji. The restraints were made from reinforced durasteel, and tied around his neck, waist and arms. As well as his legs to keep him in check as well. This was going to be dare he say it, fun. After all he had never attempted to break a member of Corpos before he had been bailed out by his brother Bruce and taken off Denon for training and work by his brother. Now that he was back though? Well, he'd have a bit of fun with this one, he supposed. The first thing he was going to do was make sure that this guy had no hope of any sort that he could use. "Took me a while to invent this toxin, or rather recreate it from an ally's recipe. But now that I've done it, what do you think? Do I need to up the potency you think?" Taji asked, as he looked at the individual.

Oh how fun messing with Corpos was. After all, Corpos were all asshats except Emraj. The one member of Corpos deserving of respect. This was why Taji hadn't resorted to deadly force on any of the members other than the fact that he simply had no taste for bloodshed. "So, tell me. What are you afraid of? I do need to know so I don't cause you any heart attacks." After all, Taji wasn't a heartless individual. A few hours of his fear and traumas being broadcast all across the world of Denon should be suitable comeuppance to the Corpos Security Forces for revealing his identity. A smirk on his face as he put on a gas mask, Taji then sprayed him in the face with a toxin. Horror to be precise. Horror was an alternative to Tear Gas that Taji had developed for the purposes of crowd control and nonlethal riot busting. Plus, it had been something he had done when he'd genuinely been bored. "Take a deep breath and realize that the Archers are unstoppable."

The first thing that Beltran was aware of were was the tightening of his chest and quickening of his pulse. He knew full well that these were classic physiological symptoms of fear and that soon his mind would quickly become clouded with a power sensory overload and racing thoughts. Rather than fight against the restraints, which he had quickly determined were more than strong enough to keep him subdued indefinitely, Beltran reached for the Force. He wasn't going to get out of this situation, he knew, until this being released him.

So he would have to endure.

"I'm...not prone to heart....problems," He replied, finding it difficult to speak as the toxin continued to assault his senses. He round himself jumping involuntarily at each sounded of his own voice and his breathing was beginning to come in quick, rapid, gasps. "But...," He continued, trying to keep some semblance of composure. "I'm not fond....of clowns."

It seemed a strange fear for a man as cold and hard as Beltran Rarr, but it was a fear none-the-less. Clowns represented something deep inside him, a darkness that he worked every minute of every day to keep contained. Normally, he would never have expressed such a thing to this being, but perhaps if this Archer person decided to use it against him, he would inadvertently activate that very darkness and reap the full fury of the chaos that would ensue.

"I guess tonight won't be fun for either of us, then." He said, as he went into another room. He had dressed a droid as a clown. It would begin to do standard clown stuff. "I'll let you in on a little secret. If you treated the poor better, there would be no Archer. Not that there will be an Archer after this evening though," He said, as he looked at them for a moment. "After all, my identity was blown all across Denon. No, it's time I moved on and did something different as the crusade of Archer has been brought to a stop permanently by you.

I am going to do something nice to you, though."
He then looked at him for a moment. "I'm going to give you a choice. I can have my robot in the clown suit leave the room, and give you time to recover, though you will owe me a favor to be paid at the time and place of my choosing. Or you can continue to be dosed with Horror until you pass out." He sighed, as he looked at him. "You have five seconds to choose."
