One could only wonder...

Fondor, Orbital Shipyards

What was Circe here for... Well, Vanessa, that was. The reason was obvious as she gazed out over the Protectorate shipyards, recollecting that although Emeritus Industries developed ships - and had tech designed - for the Omega Protectorate, no formal contract existed for the vessels, and they more than likely were going to be considered superfluous at worst and minimal service at best. Such was the reason she was here - hopefully she could find someone to get an official deal worked out with.

Then again, who knew with her sort of luck?

Fondor, Orbital Shipyards

Noah sighed as he looked out over Fondor from the planets orbiting shipyards. It had been some time but the shipyards had finally been reconstructed from the attack by the Sith trying to cripple the Protectorate which in the end only made the Protectorate even more zealous in their hunt of the Sith. Noah wasn't dressed normally in the fatigues he usually wore, instead he decided to wear his custom armor with his half cloak of sorts that hung down to his left hip, concealing most of the left side of his body. To anyone else Noah would look like a mercenary, except for the fact that he wore a patrol cap in the same camo pattern that the Pyre used combine that with the Omega Pyre symbol that was just below the patch that identified Noah as the Colonel of the Omega Pyre and it was pretty clear who he was.

And lo, there he was. The person she had half-expected to find here. Noah Corek was someone with a good deal of influence in the Omega Protectorate, and it was more than likely that she could make a deal with him in order to finally get Emeritus Industries the contract it needed to further grow and expand itself within the confines of the Omega Protectorate. "Surprising to see you here, Noah..."

In a way. HK, last she heard, worked on guns and armor, primarily. Seeing him here on a shipyard was intriguing.

Noah heard a voice off to his side and quickly turned his head and looked at the person who called his name, out of instinct reaching for his sidearm that was holstered on his thigh covered by his cloak at the same time. What he saw wasn't what he was expecting, instead of a soldier or a shipyard worker he was meet with a, in his opinion, very attractive blond haired woman who was quite smaller than him with blue-green eyes and she looked to be in her early twenties. Noah let his eyes roam a little bit and seemed to linger on her chest a little more than what was appropriate, he was a man after all.

"I'm sorry ma'am do I know you?" Noah asked, raising a eyebrow at her.

"Perhaps." She smiled, looking him over. He was a handsome and muscular man, after all - and yet he was steadfastly a loyalist to the Omega Protectorate, which gave her pause. "The name's Vanessa. Vanessa Vantai. I'm the chairwoman of Emeritus Industries. I've been looking for an avenue to officially make a contract or two with the Protectorate in order to sell some of the products we've recently developed for them. You know, so they won't end up being limited stock and all."

Being a businessman himself, she expected he would understand.

Noah rubbed the back of his head in a bit of a nervous way when she said what she did. "I'm sorry to inform you Ms. Vantai but I can't actually make any contracts for anyone besides the Pyre, I can try and convince the Protector and the Exarchs to make contracts for your products. Though I'd be willing to buy up a few of them for the Pyre, test them out and see how they do. That will most likely get the attention of the Protector and the Exarch." Noah informed her, smiling as he did so.

"Such would be... Appreciated, to say the least." She nodded, her formerly emotionless look growing a soft smile. "The products in question are a decent mixture of craft. Our benefactors acquired a modest amount of tech from that massive Subach sell off sometime back and began looking for ways to make it even better. We've developed the very first super-heavy bomber, the Coryphin. In concert, we've developed a special acidic warhead for use against enemy ship hulls, as well as a heavy cruiser and some other craft. Most of what we have is designed to hit hard and take punishment. I'll have to check the catalog to see specifically what we can offer you."

My, was he handsome. And he had that look in his eye. If he only knew who he was dealing with.

Then again, maybe it was time to play nice for a change.

Noah pulled out a datapad and began searching for references to a Super-Heavy Bomber named Coryphin and what Noah found was a bit impressive. 45 meters long, 20 meters tall and 50 meters wide, armed with two heavy laser cannons, two heavy ion cannons, three twin laser turrets and two ordnance bays capable of holding ten proton bombs each, twenty proton torpedoes each or forty concussion missiles each. Noah had to admit he could see the particular use for it.

"Impressive, definetly a very nice ship. More of a mini-corvette actually. Though I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a customized version for myself. Maybe we could discuss these contracts over coffee or dinner?" Noah asked with a smile spreading over his face.

"Coffee's too informal for a business deal such as this." She smiled. "I'd much rather prefer dinner. It feels... right for a discussion about business. Any particular pieces of technology that I find interesting, I'll certainly bring up to you." She paused. "Then again, I suppose I might as well just bring the catalog in question. Any place you'd like to get a bite to eat at in particular, or should we just choose somewhere?"

She wasn't hyper-particular, after all. All she needed was a place to eat, get a little drunk, and put in that beguiling charm she had become somewhat infamous for.

This was going to be good.

Noah rubbed his chin a bit as he thought of restaurants down on Fondor that would be good for a business dinner. "Well I know a few good restaurants down on Fondor's surface. I know a Mon Cal place, a Corellian place and a Onderonian place that are pretty good. I'll let you choose though." Noah told her as he took out his datapad and pulled up a sort of organizer/schedule and began making plans for the business dinner and also making sure to send a message to Sky so she could make dinner for her and Melissa.

"Please, I insist." She smiled. "You're the handsome man in this equation... You choose." A little bit of praise could go a long way - though Circe was alright with either of the three choices, having Noah make the decision seemed best. "Besides, it'll give me the time to get my hands on the catalog... There's more where the previous ships came from, after all." The Eightgun, the Detritus... One could only wonder what else he might find useful for the Protectorate.

After all, every little thing did count.

Noah rubbed his chin, letting his hand rub over the small beard he had grown. 'I need to make sure to shave that.' Noah thought too himself as he thought about what place they would go to. "Well I haven't had any Onderonian food in a while so I guess that would be a nice place to go. And thank you for the compliment but my handsomness is dwarfed by your beauty." Noah informed the blond woman, giving her a grin as he did so.

"Oh stop..." She said in a sly voice indicating that he should do exactly the opposite of what she said regarding such. "I have a shuttle ready, and will meet you at the restaurant assuming it's not within walking distance." She was quite hungry, after all - and not in that sense, no. "Business and food do go together rather eloquently after all. It's always best to make contracts on a full stomach."

She hadn't had an exotically spiced nerf filet in a long while, after all.
