Getting a message from the Jedi Master, Valery Noble, Cedwyn had been surprised to hear that she required his help. There was a part of him that just assumed that she wanted to see more of him then he had to remind himself that she was married, so this was not going to be a leisure call. Perhaps something related to the work of their previous mission. Being more realistic about it, the call was very likely about the information that he gave her previously. Imperials had attempted to hire him in order to hunt down a Jedi Padawan. There was not a ton of information that he had been able to give the Jedi but he gave what he could in order to assist her. Taking the message, Cedwyn had been curious as to what she might have found further and why she contacted him out of everyone she knew to help her on this mission. He was sure there would a following of Jedi eagerly trailing her around ready to help her on missions. Perhaps he made more of a positive impression this second time around than he thought.
That idea made him smirk before chuckling deeply.
Checking the equipment on his ship, he had the general supplies for several days and plenty of medical supplies. It wasn't going to be a particularly long trip to reach the planet that Valery had marked as their meeting location but he was wanting to make sure that his equipment was not found to be lacking. Something twigged at the back of his mind that this was not going to be as simple as taking down another basic, weak remnant camp. While the Mawites were defeated, there still lingered rumours of attempts to reform, of forging a new imperial based threat. Cedwyn was getting plenty of jobs working as security and ensuring that he could rest easy as nervous freighters travelled the newly liberated regions of space. Bar pirates and unorganised imperial forces, there hadn't been much that Cedwyn would consider much of a disturbance.
However, he was never letting his guard down, Sith still remained out there and while they were not the ones who tortured him, they needed to suffer.
Engaging the Hyperspace, he messaged Valery, letting her know that he would be arriving shortly. Tapping at some of the controls, he sort his space out so his ship didn't look as much of a mess as it did the last time that he had worked with the Jedi Master. His tidying job was cut short when he dropped out of Hyperspace, there was no signs of troubles at the moment but the Force felt very different. There was a clearer dark force organising here. Whether Sith were involved or just simply the strongest of Imperial presence that Cedwyn had sensed was yet to be seen. Shifting into the pilot seat, Cedwyn flicked switches and shifted quickly around the space, avoiding anything that could be an object attempting to detect him. Instead he dropped hard into the atmosphere, it was risky coming in hard but he was practised in this and new that he could style it out at the end.
Allowing the Force to guide him somewhat, he pulled back on the controls and felt the ship slow down and level out. "Smooth sailing!" Cedwyn cheered as he chuckled, finding the spot where Valery was located.
"Why hello there Jedi Master, missed me already?" It was a flirty teasing tone he gave as he stepped out of his ship, it was one that he had practiced only slightly why tidying his ship up. Cedwyn adjusted the straps of his harness so none of his weapons were loose as he rolled his shoulders. "How can I help you, Valery?" He offered a warm smile to her.
