One Has to Study the Force, Right?

What am I looking for?
A Full-time Master

What else would I love?
... if the master were a Jedi or at least a lightsider not aligned with any of the two main Jedi Orders -or- not wanting to recruit Harlon to the Order.

What would I specialise in?
Anything. I am open to pretty much everything the master would teach Harlon and I'm by no means restricting him yet to becoming a Guardian, Consular or a Sentinel.

Any questions?

I doubt you'd consider yourself a lightsider, so it's a no.

My fault, I misread 'lightsider' as 'lightsaber' for some reason.

Carry on.

Maybe that's what I accidentally wrote. :p

[member="Josiah Denko"], awesome! If you truly are willing to take the stupid guy as a Padawan, I have nothing against that.

I'll remember that. And I believe Harlon will be having a lot of conflicts in the future, so there's also a chance for a lifelong enemy. ;)

Sorry, I'm not currently looking out to join any factions. But if you are willing to take me on nonetheless, I would be happy to study from you.

This is not a pitch for any given Faction - just an observation. If you chose a Master outside of an established Order, you will have a limited list of skills to be trained in i.e. just the ones your Master can teach you. So when you choose, make sure you see not only their philosophy of being a Force-user (I won't call them a Jedi) and their posting habits, but also their character sheet.

I had an awesome Master but without being able to use at least a dozen other teachers, I would not have half of the abilities in Corvus' repertoire.

Or...you could become a roving Padawan, getting learning from different Force-users across the galaxy. I have a Dark-sided character that has gone that route - she seeks the best teacher per ability. Getting to Knight and especially Master will be a challenge - but one I'm up for :)
