Going after treasure wasn't really something Yuri did. He was a smuggler by trade and a gun for hire on the side. But at the end of the day, the Shistavanen was always looking for a way to make a quick credit or two. With that in mind, the fields he specialized in became rather blurred. Thus he found himself on Onderon in search of some kind of precious artefact somewhere in the wilderness. A challenge already for Yuri, who didn't have a lick of info on where this artefact was or what it even was. He chalked it up to being one of those situations of "you'll know it when you see it".

He wouldn't be surprised if it was some kind of lightsaber. Or a mask. Or whatever the Jedi had that was valuable. Even his client was of no use, simply stating that they wanted this item. So he wandered the streets of Iziz in hopes of finding a place that could maybe point him in the right direction. The first and easiest option was cantinas... where he could at least get a drink in his search. After that it was libraries and museums. So after getting himself some chow by a stall in the marketplace, he ventured to the first cantina he could find. It was relatively quiet for the moment, which suited him just fine.

He sauntered over to the bar counter and ordered himself a pint of beer, leaving a very generous tip as well to get the bartender's attention. "You wouldn't know where to find some old Jedi temple or something by any chance?" He asked the bartender rather bluntly. The barman, a Rodian with a more unpleasant disposition than a juvenile Rancor with toothache, simply stared at him like he was crazy. "You some kind of treasure hunter or something?" The man asked him with a snort. Yuri's cool grin faltered to a frown. So much for that option.

Yuri shook his head and turned to look at the crowd for a moment as he contemplated his options.

ADVENTURES

"One day. Oooooone daaaay!"

Mic grumbled all the way from the ship and into town. He still wasn't impressed with working for Valery Noble Valery Noble and her goons. But just sometimes, the money was good. And the trinkets were so much more rewarding sometimes. Other times, he had no bloody clue what they would do with a piece of stick that was hidden away in a temple, but hey! Long as he got paid.

At least this time he got sent to at least a sort of civilised place to get something he'd actually heard of before. Still didn't make sense what the Jedi would do with it on their own other than look at it, but here he was on Onderon nonetheless. Yes, he had to be threatened with his freedom again to actually make sure that he brought it back to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and didn't pawn it off to some Hutt, but whatever.

The bum was heading to the old Onderon Temple.

But first the bum needed courage juice. The place wasn't exactly in ship shape nowadays.

So Mic made a detour into the closest cantina to load up on booze for the trek. It wasn't like the jungle didn't have all kinds of creepy crawlies. He didn't feel like handling those without courage juice.

But things took a sudden turn as he walked into the bar.

"You wouldn't know where to find some old Jedi temple or something by any chance?"

Greeeeeat....

"Need a tour guide, mate?" he asked, sauntering up to the bar and flicking a few credits toward the bartender. "Six of your best beer." He turned to look at the Shistavanan. To rule out competition, make buddies with them. "I know where you're heading. I know the way."

He didn't exactly but the canine didn't have to know that.

Yuri flinched as a stranger randomly spoke up next to him, startled by the sudden presence of the man. "Jeez, you'll give me a heart attack." He remarked, brushing his hair back. The man, for some reason, bought a six-pack for the two of them, presumably, and laid down his business. Yuri studied him for a moment as he leaned against the counter. "Tourism industry must be takin' a knock if this is where you get your clients." He quipped, reaching over to help himself to one of the beers. He went as far as opening a second bottle to slide over to the stranger.

After a healthy sip and a slight shiver at the cold drink, Yuri turned his attention back to the man. "Dunno why my business is so interestin' to you, bud. Do I gotta worry about competition?" He asked with a cool smile as his hand idly rested against the pistol strapped to his thigh.

The last thing he needed was someone else after the same thing. This was supposed to be a simple mission. "I take it askin' for the location won't be worth it, huh?" He quipped, weighing his options for a moment. "What's your deal?" He finally asked the man.
