One Sith Navy 1st Tactical Fighter Wing
The One Sith Navy's 1st Tactical Fighter Wing was established following the Battle of Teta after it became apparent that lax patrol regulations were what were responsible for allowing the Republic Forces to land on the planet virtually unopposed until they were at the very gates of Cinnigar itself. Considering that unlike before, the One Sith Imperial Navy was no longer short of manpower, there was no excuse for such a failure.
The newly knighted Darth Armyss, the leader of the renowned 71st Fighter Squadron, was aware of such a deficiency, and so reorganized his fighter squadron into a multirole fighter wing equipped with forty-eight Santhe Corporation TIE V/XL "Exalt"-class starfighters (acquired here), a smaller fighter than their older Defenders with much of the same capability, although the Defenders were retained as reserve craft should their use become necessary for whatever reason. The sixteen pilots of the original squadron were divided up amongst the individual squadrons in the wing in order to provide guidance for the less experienced but highly motivated 'nuggets' that made up the remainder of the wing.
The Wing's organizational structure consists of the following, not counting support personnel:

Squadrons: 71st, 72nd, 73rd and 74th Tactical Fighter Squadrons (6 Fighters Each)

What makes the 1st Tactical Fighter Wing unique in this regard is that they don't have "elements", as their flights consist of only three fighters each.
