One Sith Inquisition

The Emperor was assassinated.

But we endured.

Rebellions gripped our empire.

But we endured.

Enemies within our empire have plotted our downfall, but they have all failed. Vanquished under the powerful fist of the One Sith.

Never again will we allow such treachery to take root. Never again will we let it fester. To cut out this vile disease, a new power has risen within the One Sith.

Under the command of the Grand Inquisitor, and with a singular purpose to destroy the heretics, they have embarked on a crusade to bring justice to all those who would forsake the glorious empire.

I’ve had this idea for a while, and with the civil war, this feels like the right opportunity to introduce the One Sith Inquisition.

As the above-post states, the One Sith Inquisition is a organization tasked with rooting out, and exterminating, traitors within the One Sith. They do not operate out of a home-planet, but rather a singular, mobile fleet. This allows the Inquisition force to rapidly deploy, and exact punishment accordingly. Depending on the strength of the traitor forces, reported my Inquisition agents, a single Inquisitor may be dispatched, or an entire army. Finally, they are led by the Grand Inquisitor.

When I posted the thread detailing the Dark Council positions and its members, you would have noticed that one position was redacted. From the beginning, that position was intended for the Grand Inquisitor, leader of the One Sith Inquisition.

For now, the Grand Inquisitor will be an NPC controlled by the OS Admin Team. In time, when a member shows a great deal of commitment, they could very well be promoted to Grand Inquisitor, and we’d drop the NPC.

This is part of our continued effort to expand the One Sith, and offer something more to our members. I believe that playing a character whose goal is to weed out treachery, in an organization rife with it, would be very interesting. It would also promote some inter-faction strife, but without the stakes or drama of a Civil War.

So we’ll be adding a new sub-forum for it, and going into a bit more detail. It’ll be structured in similar way to the OS Army/Navy. So you can expect the standard roster/rank threads, new rank titles, and a few other special ideas we have yet to reveal.[/SIZE]
