One Sith Navy Overhaul

Seeing as we don't have many active fleeters, I have decided--for the time being--to take over the One Sith Navy from an OOC perspective. I'll probably be writing an NPC in any engagements we need fleeters in, rather than having Catalys command the Navy as he hasn't established himself enough to be at such a high rank.

First things first, however, I've noticed the Navy hasn't really had much going on. Fleeting is a niche, and not the most popular one at that, but I'd like people to believe that you don't have to be a fleeter to be part of the navy... What do I mean by that?

Essentially. You don't need to play the numbers game, or have the best understanding of three-dimensional space combat, or have a mental essay written up on the turbolaser-versus-massdriver argument. Pretty much, I want people to join the Sith navy because they believe it'll be wicked fun to have a guy who goes around the galaxy in a badass looking Star Destroyer.

Now, without further delay I'd like to take a small poll to see where everyone in the faction is in regards to the navy...

P.S.

I never proofread.

Also. What do you want to see in the One Sith Navy?

I've always enjoyed space combat strategy games, favorite being homeworld 2 since they did it perfectly! I'd be interested in becoming a fleeter so to speak.

I wouldn't mind learning how to 1v1 in terms of fleets, and if it means -eventually- getting a Star Destroyer, then why not.

I also don't seem to be able to vote.

I feel like i owe an apology. The OS Navy has been a key part of Cyrus' character for a while now, and he is the seniormost PC in it. Alas, my ambitions tend to run deeper than my irl motivation (and time, or at least managment of said time) and i havent done much of anything except sub a nice strike fighter.

So yeah, sorry about all that and fwiw ill be lurking and happy to assist if you have any questions about how things used to be set up. Of course if you'd rather run things entirely seperate thats pefectly fine too, and if i ever get my muse back ill be sure to let you know.

The cold dark world of real life responsibility, mostly.

Ive got a handful of ideas id love to pursue but im keenly aware that id probably run out of steam partway through and rather than abandon a project in the middle and leave people in the dark id just as soon not start it, you know?
