One sith new image

With the one sith technically not been the empire and the event kinda brought this idea up, I personally think we should re-image the one sith. Something that is unique and portrays us as a fraction. Something that doesn't tie us in to the empire.

I'm putting this out as an idea and I'd like to know what everyone's opinion is about this.

Technically we're heirs to the Empire through Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire which we claim to be descendants of.

Anyway, I think OS is going in the right direction on its own and has always been going that way for some time. I think there's no need for a new image of the faction.

But I see it we are not exactly focused around the empire anymore, and not for a long time now. We as a fraction are either sith, a few nfu's and vong. We have very little tech that is imp tech and more vong, and the vong tech is used more. We as a fraction have kinda lost a lot of the connection to them and disregard the fact that this once had the empire. Now there is an empire fraction that has moved/moving to major and this event we could use it to come with a stronger image completely fresh, and one to show we are all insane nuts that want the galaxy.

We started out as a Sith-centered faction, but recently shifted to an Imperial faction (and by shifted, I mean we now focus on Imperial motives for expansion rather than the goal to crush the Jedi order).

I see what you are getting at. We seem more organic and more focused on Vong and Sith powers than on giant star ships, AT-AT, and such like that. I say if you want more tech like imperial style then make that your job and start building. Not only will the faction be changing as you like, you are responsible for that change. Look at Sage, when I joined I had no idea of his existence. He wanted domination and invasions so he started rolling the ball and look where he is now. From my view that only took a few months.

The Empire was great. The late Sith Empire on the board was awesome. But why cookie cutter copy things. The One Sith are a mix all their own of past and new, and that's a good thing.
