One Thing for Another (Enigma)

The cargo ship exited hyperspace within view of Coruscant, angling itself for the descent. In the back sat Valtryx, her mind still dwelling on her friend she had just left, the one who had helped her acquire the Stygium. She constantly tried to clear her thoughts, instead thinking solely of her grand plan. As the ship came down onto Coruscant, it touched down on the floating platform, located not too far from the Sith Temple and high enough up to be considered out of the slums. This was where she had arranged the trade, and hopefully it would be a quick and simple one. She would deliver the Stygium, and in return she would get the Cloning Equipment.

As the rear ramp of her ship lowered and revealed the Stygium container, Valtryx moved it out onto the middle of the platform. Casting her eyes to the surrounding sky, the Yodaling waited for the woman to come. She hoped she did come, it had taken her some effort to find a supplier of the equipment that she felt she could mildly trust, but she had no idea why this one felt like that.

A corvette, clearly identifiable as a Cyracuse-class Drone Carrier, would exit hyperspace a few kilometers from the other ship. The deal had been arranged privately over the darknet - Circe would provide the necessary cloning technology to this individual in exchange for a load of stygium. What would the stygium be used for, one might ask? Well, she did have some things intended to be utilized for the Omega Protectorate - for example, the best of these would hopefully be a corvette similar to the Monitor, but with the capabilities to cloak as well - if the ship was able to detect cloaked ships while remaining cloaked itself, it would prove to be a valuable asset.

Who knew where it would turn up at this rate, though?

A few minutes passed and Valtryx begun to question whether her mysterious dealer was going to turn up. However, when a corvette that looked slightly out of place among the taxi shuttles and yachts of Coruscant came into view in the distance. Correcting her posture slightly, she watched the ship come closer, noticing its class and trying to determine the type of person from it. She was no expert though, so her deduction failed. Instead she stood patiently, awaiting the ship to land and curious to meet its owner.

During her wait she tried to keep her mind clear, not wanting to give anything away about her intentions for the cloning equipment.

The corvette did indeed land, and slowly but surely, it opened up, the chief occupant inside exiting down a ramp to eye the short green creature of the same species as a certain Jedi master. She admittedly wierded Circe out a bit, considering her almost goblin-like appearance, but who cared about that sort of thing? She had the resources Circe asked for, and in exchange, she had what the woman(at least she assumed it was a woman) wanted. What she would use the cloning tank for was unknown, but it didn't matter that much.

"I assume the deal's a deal, unless there's anything you'd like me to help you with..."

Valtryx's eyes narrowed at the woman, examining her closely. She seemed harmless enough, although looks could be deceiving, and so her caution did not falter. "The deal is a deal." The Yodaling repeated, gesturing towards the Stygium to her left. The container had a small transparasteel viewhole in it, allowing proof of the Stygium inside. "Need any help, I will not." Valtryx looked past Enigma to her ship. "Would you like help getting the tank out?" She offered, obviously eager to see the equipment she so desperately required.

Two Mirari bodyguard droids would find themselves wheeling down the ramp a cloning tank, perfectly intact(though a tad dusty), along with the other hardware necessary to utilize it. "You'll have to get your own consoles to interface with the tank, but the tank's systems run perfectly. This comes from one of my old laboratories from several years ago, which I used for genetics testing. It's created a wide variety of entities, some warped, other beautiful. It should serve your purposes nicely."

What those purposes were, Circe didn't know, and she didn't care that much either - what mattered was that the deal was properly conducted.

Valtryx moved forward, inspecting the equipment and nodding frequently. "Trust your word, I shall." She said, a polite smile forming on her lips. "Help yourself." Her left hand motioned towards the Stygium container, a gesture to allow her droids to pick it up. As for her, she faced the equipment again and outstretched both her arms. Feeling the force around her, she began focusing on it to lift and move the equipment ever so carefully towards her ship. It was a slow process, as she didn't have her own servant droids and she needed to be careful, but it got the job done in the end...

Once she had placed the equipment just below her own ship ramp, she turned to the woman. "I also trust that we might perform more business in the future, hmm?" It was more of a question than a statement. Valtryx needed as many contacts as possible in the future, and this woman could benefit her greatly. Of course, that meant Valtryx would have to find more things to trade.

But that was the fun part.

"This has proven to be a rather excellent experience, yes." She smiled, looking down and extending a hand to the Yodaling in friendship. A particularly odd move for a Sith Lady to make, but Circe had always been quite the eccentric when it came to Sithery, but she did play well with others, particularly when there were things like this to do. Business was booming, after all, and who knew where some of this stygium would end up going to?

Who knew...

Valtryx smiled, accepting the handshake of the woman. Something about her stature made the Yodaling like her already, without knowing anything about her. What she also didn't know was what the Stygium was going to be used for, but part of her didn't care. Besides, it would be common courtesy to not intrude on other's intentions when they do not intrude on yours. "Glad to here it, I am." Her hand then slowly pulled away after the handshake, allowing her to move over to her newly-obtained cloning equipment. With her hands raised once again, she finished moving them into the back of her ship.

Once more she turned to Enigma. "Is there anything else, or is it time to part ways, for now?" She smiled, trying her best to be polite, despite knowing well that she would come across as an odd creature to the human.

"I would, unfortunately, say the latter." Circe, again, had little if any clue as to what the woman was going to be using the cloning tank for. It could've been to create an army, though she doubted one tank could make one. Bodyguards perhaps. Maybe a clone body to inhabit, Palpatine-style? Whatever the rationale, it was now her property, to do with as she saw fit. With such, Circe turned away, returning up the ramp in preparation to leave. Once she was on board, the Cyracuse would exit the planet's dock, and she would move on to other business.

Special, special business.
