Yeah, I dont think we need to overthink this one but just in case I started this thread.
Going over where everyone is on the ship seemed like a good idea and this is what I found out.

are holding of the main pirate force lead by PCs

In a main room of the Ship. Perhaps a large hallway or some sort of barrack. There are furniture and crates and stuff where people take cover so it does not sound like a regular corridor anyway.
[member="Tiali Orazio"] and [member="Jaster of clan Awaud"] (and Jesters Marines)
both approached this in a more stealthy fashion and has reached the actual cargo bay. Jester through the door and Tiali by carving himself through the hull from the outside - his ship is docked with the cargo bay so to speak.
The Cargo bay might be large so they have not seen each other yet and it also looks like some NPC guards are near by.
And I think its safe to say that the freighter is small enough for the two groups with PCs to hear each others fighting although not actually seeing it.
