OOC: When Falsehood Can Look Like Truth [SJO/ME]

Pirates, masquerading as Silver Jedi, have attacked the Mandalorian Empire planet of Garos, committed acts of terrorism, murder and kidnapped Mand'alor the Infernal, [member="Kaden Mantis"] & [member="Cassiopeia Caranthyr"] on a ship stolen from the Silvers.​

They have fled to Barataria (AD29), signalling a distress call upon the wilderness planet, using the premature labour-pangs of [member="Yasha Mantis"] to add legitimacy to their SJO SOS.

The Mandalorian Empire is rushing to rescue their own, before one more is added prematurely to their number.

There will be Fleet and Ground engagement.

Concurrently, there will be an investigation, as players from both the Mandalorian and Jedi side work to solve the mystery as to who is really behind the attacks, and stop the conflict before it develops into all out war!​

Skirmish Battle Conditions:
Fleeting
For fleeting, the conditions are as follows: *1 PC Captain ship per writer up to 5km *A common escort pool of 20km per side.

Grounding
Conditions for the for the ground battle will be a little different, using a simplified version of the points system used for ground combat in board events. Each side will have 1000 points to spend on NPC units. Costs are as follows. *2 Points for an infantry squad (9-12 individuals) *20 Points for a vehicle squad. (includes crew, up to 50 meters) *40 Points for an airspeeder/starship squadron (includes crew, up to 50 meters) Additional factory/codex restrictions apply, like production and deployment rates. Finally, each side may use one capital grade mobile fortress or starship.
