Heir to Clan Khath
A golden morning light from a warm sun lathered Voss' temperate landscape in a rich dawn blonde. With it, early day creatures began to stir from their nests and their holes, calling for their mates and rivals in preparation for the day to come, singing wistfully in their unusual and poetically unique tones. It was pretty inspiring, if one took a moment to sit and watch it
This is exactly what young Auron, an apprentice to the Jedi, was doing. His eyes flitted around a moment to see the birds that darted from tree to tree. He extended him arm and hand out, and for a moment projected his Force energy towards the large oak tree before him that seemed to nest a dozen families of various birds. Moments later, a large thunderhead hawk leapt gracefully from out of the greenery, landing silently on the Jedi's arm. For a few long moments, Auron stared into the bird's eyes, transmitting his own sense of calm towards her, and it was almost as though he could feel her speaking to him across the Force. "The Force is in everything," his father had told him from a young age, and he supposed it was true.
His state of humble meditation was interrupted as the soaring of a ship overhead echoed through the small thicket within which he stood, and he allowed the bird to return to her home.
~Go in peace~
Lowering his arm, he turned to where the Jedi Temple lay behind just a few narrow trees and performed a spontaneous single cartwheel in its direction, before walking out into the opening with a jovial chuckle. The temple's massive entrance loomed before him, but he was far too distracted by the attractive people milling around. He broke into a leap as he passed another apprentice, high fiving him enthusiastically and complimenting his new robe.
"Wanna go hunting for ruins later, man?"
"I'm not sure, I have a lot of studies to be getting on w-"
"Pah, you're such an old man! Catch you later, give your lovely sister a kiss from me." He grinned, and the apprentice returned it with a grimace and a dismissive wave as he trotted onward.
"Lei, looking good today, sweetness," he projected to another apprentice, a shy Twi'lek girl who blushed instantly at Auron's compliment. She said nothing but smiled bashfully as she passed.
Too many cute people out today, he thought.
