Loreena Arenais-Valhoun
Owner of Dar'manda Industries
Commenor.
It had been many months since Lori was back on her home planet. Her time had been spent elsewhere, travelling from planet to planet across the Galaxy in her little training fighter the Grey Sparrow. But doing all of that by herself made her miss her twin brother [member="Caedyn Arenais"] , as well as her parents. All of them were off doing their own thing, just as she was. And with the Sith blockading their routes to the Core, Lori had come home through the southern hyperspace lane.
Such tension and anger in the Galaxy would surely have her family worry for her, so here was where Lori went. No doubt her twin brother would be arriving too, if tensions escalated to war.
That would be bad.
Lori grinned to herself however, finding the time to set up one of her little traps for Caedyn. She was at the bottom of the Eldritch Mountains in the forest, a forest that they played in a lot when they were little. It was remote, but not too remote. Often the two would explore and practice some of the skills of Force use that was once forbidden by their parents.
Today however she had prepared a simple little trap to ambish him with. A thin tripwire was arranged across the trail at ankle level, followed by another that was right at the right stride level. It was a double-whammy! The first tripwire would trigger a bucket of syrup that would launch it's contents at the unsuspecting victim from the bushes. The second tripwire would launch a volley of baking flour from the bushes on the other side, intending to coat the victim with white powder, whether the first tripwire worked or not.
Lori had spent a good hour or so setting it up, doing her best to not leave too much of an indication that someone had recently travelled on that path. Oh this was going to be perfect!! The sound of footsteps in the distance gave her pause. Was it Caedyn? She quickly scrambled up a nearby tree, using the foliage for cover. Oh the look on his face was going to be priceless!
Now she just waited it out.
