"Casper, you're late again!" A booming voice rang from the kitchen into the diner, luckily the diner was empty. Casper sighed as he rubbed the back of his head.
"Uh sorry sir, it's just-"
"Shut up and get started on your work." The Man said.
The reason Casper put up with all the chef's annoying orders was not because he was Casper's boss, but the diner was a nice place to stash and move spice. Customers occasionally came by just to purchase spice, but it wasn't often.
Casper sighed as he walked into the kitchen, not caring to make eye contact with his boss. The teen opened the closet and grabbed a broom, he then walked back into the dinning area. Casper began to sweep up some of the dirt that had been tracked into the diner by previous customers.
It was just about time to open for the diner to open for the evening. Casper brought the broom back into the closet, then he heard the diner's door open. Casper smiled as he walked back out to greet the customers.
"Hey, welcome to Lad's Diner, you can have a seat anywhere you want, just shout to me when you're ready." Casper said to the couple that walked in.
The customers nodded before taking a seat.
"Hey we're ready." The man said. Casper smiled as he walked towards the couple's booth.
The man began talking. "I'll take the Bantha Burger, and she'll have-"
"Nothing." The woman cut him off.
"Ok, so one Bantha Burger, anything to drink?" Casper asked
"Just some Bantha Milk." The man said.
Casper nodded as he walked to the chef's window.
"Hey Lad, One Bantha Burger." He said before walking to the diner counter and pouring a glass of Bantha Milk and water. The teen then brought the drinks to the booth. "You're food will be out in a few minutes boss." Casper said to the man.
He then walked back behind the counter. The diner was a nice cover .
