Archduke of Stalgasin Hive
This is the OOC Signups for the Siege of Stalgasin Hive, Part One.
The goal of this thread, of course, is to count who will show up for Part One. This thread is open to any who can reasonably come and support Stalgasin Hive and have the reasoning to do so. This thread is entirely organic and WILL dictate how things go further on Geonosis for storyline.
This thread will center around planning for the Siege of Stalgasin Hive. Characters that are involved with Stalgasin Hive, or otherwise want to show up within reason (such as the Sith Order, the Foundation, etc), will be allowed to come as they please to join in. There is no official cap for the signups, but please note your signup for which objective - this will be important because I do want to make sure people are aware of what they're signing up for. To this end, I will note the objectives for Part 2 (and where you can sign up and plan for them here icly in Part 1).
Objective 1 will be the ground battle, think a la AOTC's Battle of Geonosis. Your characters can do still, still kill Geonosians, etc, but this will be largely cinematic and driven by your decisions as both warriors and commanders. Exercising strategic command will be crucial for fighting. If signing up, you may bring a force of reasonable size (so around a legion of Clone Troopers or Stormtroopers is a good example of force size in terms of raw numbers) for this, plus vehicles to match and artillery. Trust me, there's gonna be a lot of bugs and others to kill. The goal for objective one is to stop the Stalgasin Hive gates from being breached by Gehenbar Hive and thus spilling in reinforcements to the lower and middle levels.
Objective 2 will be the interiors of Stalgasin Hive, more tactical, squad-level focus with one-on-ones encouraged. The goal here is to prevent the Geonosians and droids of Gehenbar Hive from assassinating the Archduke, as well as trying to repulse the incursion from the lower levels, and drive them out once and for all. This will be largely against elite commando-like units of Geonosians and Droids, expect a lot of violence and bug murder.
To reiterate, this is a strategy conference/planning thread. If you've read everything, just please insert your favorite bug somewhere (pls make it visible) in the sign-up post. This will not be a conflict post (that's part two), but this will be closing in two days.
