Hey!
Welcome to First Order fleet training!
This thread, will act as an OOC to our IC thread, along as a general Q and A thread to ask what it is about fleeting you want to know.
Now, onto the good stuff, your first lesson.
That should hopefully be it, if you have any questions, let me know.

Hey!
Welcome to First Order fleet training!
This thread, will act as an OOC to our IC thread, along as a general Q and A thread to ask what it is about fleeting you want to know.
Now, onto the good stuff, your first lesson.
Fleet Composition.
Fleet composition is everything on this site. Choosing the right tools for the job, is sort of like choosing the right tools to build a house. You have to be careful, methodical, and roll with what your choose, because it's almost certain you're not going to be able to change it.
Usually, fleeting compositions, are drawn up using two metrics. What your allies are bringing, and what the enemy has brought. Since we don't know what the enemy has brought up, because I'm a lazy dude, conferring with your colleagues is important. However, for the nature of this thread, a few rules will be inforced.
Name: FIV [FIV is our designation and as such is mandatory. Think of it like USS, or HMS, it's the First Order's thing.]
Class: [Hyperlink whatever class of vessel you're using here]
Shields:
Hull:
Hangar: [I don't always do this, but before every engagement, pick out some form of TIE bombers or fighters from our asset lists, and list the amount of squadrons aboard.]
Firing at:
The hull and shields are represented either by the ships measurements, like so [1600 | 1600], with the former going down until zero, or alternatively, by percentages.
Also, here's the list (x)

- No star destroyer sized vessels. Your vessels will be cruisers, and under.
- 4km limit. Most fleeting engagements have a limit. For the purposes of this, you'll have 4km to fill in, which is quite a lot to work with.
- Use the template
- Name your ships, and fleet something cool. The First Order's all about that imperial aesthetic, make us proud!
