Aspen, a newly appointed captain of the Sith Empire sat in the back of her transport, she had upon being promoted to the rank of captain she was also sent to a new recruit training camp, there she was told to choose her team, she was allowed to choose 3 members to join her and become her squad.

She had watched and taken note of the recruits, she had taken a very special interest in a few; There was Sky, a very skilled medic who also showed combat proficiency as well as Tyler who was a genius with circuits and anything technology. Then there was Ryan a tank, it was as if he were built to take damage, he was a huge man with the combat style of a wild animal.

She had chosen her team and they had been given a name Lightning Squad. For it was the hope of the armed forces that this unit would hit like lightning and disappear like smoke on any assignment. Here was their first, they were being sent into enemy territory with a mission, they were to first fortify the front line and then move into enemy territory and rescue a high value member of the emperors security council from the most heavily fortified military prison.

Gavin flew his cloaked ship to the location he was ordered to go to. He didn't know why he was going here except that it came from the top and it came fast. He checked the time, he still had 30 minutes till his deadline to get there. He increased the throttle. All he knew was he was supposed to meet someone named Aspen Laval. He sat there in the cockpit, lost in thought, thinking about what this mission might be. He checked the nav, 10 clicks to go. Easing back on the throttle he started flying lower. Once he got to the location he landed and exited the ship in his full armor. He saw four people and noticed one was a captain. He walked up to her and said "Aspen, Right?"[member="Aspen Laval"]

Aspen would notice the man whom sat in the cockpit, he seemed to be of some prestige, at least as far as she could tell. The way he carried himself reminded her of a man she had once met, he even wore the same kind of armor as that man. She knew this man was not to be questioned for if he was the question would be met with brutal, or lethal force.

As the man approached Aspen would step forward, she was in almost full combat armor minus the helm for she hadn't worn that thing since she was promoted to captain. Her men were dressed in black armor closely resembling that of the old clone commandos. On their armor they all had purple stripes. Aspen had just before being promoted been awarded the Jaig eyes, they were carved into her helm. She would quickly walk up to the man and speak "Afirmative sir. I have been ordered to brief you on the op we are on today. We are first going to head to the frontline and help reassure that line, from there we are to head northeast around the backside of this cliff. We are to repel down the cliff face and head in from underneath the prison, our mission is to extract a a very high ranking officer and get him off this planet"

Gavin was still very confused about this. He didn't know what to do next, so he got right to buisness. "WhatWhat 's the anti aircraft fire like on the front, because if it is low thwe can fly behind them in my ship, and tskettake hem out from behind. If not,direct frontal assault it is." He went into his ship and got.his lightolsaber pike.After a quick floorish he added "Anyway, You're the captain.captain "

"The plan is to flank around the enemy, we will use that cave up there for cover, we have another squad airdropping in behind the enemy to close them off, our job is to hold the enemys back until they arrive, once this happens we will repel down the side of the cliff into the water below, down there there is a drainage tunnel, we will swim up this tunnel. It will be guarded so be prepared, lets move out." She said grabbing her weapon and moving at a quick pace

Gavin went to the ship to get his Relby V-10 then ran to catch up. Occasionally he looked theough the sight but he never saw anything
Gavin looked at the other soldiers and began to learn what he could about them. One carried a first aid kit, so he reasoned that she was a medic, another seemed to have some technical tools with him. The last one caught hyis attention. His build was huge and he looked like he could not only take a big hit, but deliver one. As for the captain he felt in the force a sense of accomplishmesnt, he guessed she had recently been primoted to cprain, but other than that he couldn't tell. With this new information he felt more at ease than he had earlier. Gavin quickened his pace to be ealking beside the captain " I don't like this, too quiet."

Aspen would take everything in, what did she know? She knew that this planet was swarming with enemies, as well as this was not going to be an easy mission. She would look to Ryan and spoke "I have point Ryan you watch our six, Tyler you have the right flank and Sky you have left." As she spoke she saw the man beside her and heard him speak. "you are not wrong." Just then over head she would see a transport of men drop from the sky. That meant they didnt make the front lines in time but it would be ok "New plan we proceed to the cliff"
