- Description: [ A typical team of VSOG infantry will be made up of 12 Members. This includes a team Leader, a Radioman, a Gunner and Assistant Gunner, 8 Riflemen. They all wear the standard OPEX tactical equipment atop black fatigues with a simple black helmet, not unlike the Imperial Army helmet of the old galactic empire. These teams are small and adaptable to changing mission sets and circumstances. Team size may scale depending on the operation, not to exceed 12 members. ]

These teams are not rank and file, they are a scalpel to be used in high risk mission sets where perfection is non-negotiable. ]

Stationed aboard the OPEX command ship, Shield-Maiden, These teams are ready for quick deployment to combat zones to accomplish mission sets ranging from asset retrieval, to VIP protection. Formed by Kael Virex (whom the name of the organization honors) this group is made of elite infantry, prior guards, and ex special forces motivated to perform for high pay and action. These groups are typically deployed one at a time, though encounters like the the one with a force user on Varunda Nine may serve as exceptions. Typically, these units are mission built and mission equipped. The biggest struggle with these elite forces is their slow recruitment and training times, as well as high barriers to entry. All members of the team, from gunners, to radiomen, to rifles, must be subject matter experts in their field and in peak physical shape. These units are not a hammer, but a scalpel that sees most confidential work within OPEX Corp.
