Opinion of taking the TJO's place in defending the republic

So with Ryan korr's new promotion in the Jedi order he has declared that they will be detaching from the republic in favor for the GA. Now since we are a natural group and are anti crime I ththought maybe this ccocould be an opportunity for us to get the attention and grow as a fraction. There already plans in place to become allies with the republic but this new opportunity is so much more than an alliance.

We have many ic reasons to do so. But I want hear your opinions.

meh, we don't have the activity to attract more people to want to do it and from some sounds Matric and others are still going to continue to help the republic. I'd say just be friendly but not try to force being oppertunistic and say "we'll be your order" we are to far away from them to do much else then aid

yes but the jedi went minor to go to lothal while we are major and they had a member base that could actually fulfill the roll of aid. We have most members who are inactive, don't want to be involved in skirmishes and invasions and can barely post in a dominion

lets try to finish a dom we've had going before planning other ones. we struggle to complete one. we can barely motivate anyone to post as is.

Failing that we could attack The Galactic Alliance, this would see interest and activity peak even if it is with one sith alies.
