Opportunity for Learning

Kashyyyk

Abigail walked slowly, giving herself the opportunity to take in the sight. She'd never been to Kashyyyk before and had only heard stories about the planet, so she was quite interested to see things for herself. Yet it was still much different than she had imagined. Dressed in her armour and wearing a cloak over it, she continued on, a bit unsure where to go. She knew that this was Silver space, and she was pretty sure this was also their headquarters or capital or something like that. She'd done one or two jobs with the Silvers before, so she was confident that she wouldn't be seen as an enemy. She hoped not anyway.

Abigail was really just visiting, wanting to explore a bit more of the galaxy without it being during a war. The members of the Silver Jedi Order she had met had seemed to be lovely people, so she was eager to meet more of them. Perhaps she could even end up learning a few things here and there, as it had been a long while since Abigail's last proper training.

Much ran through his mind at present. The revelation that his son, Jason, was a Force Sensitive was at the forefront of that, though. It had hit him quickly. His worst nightmare had come true. Right in front of him. On a day that was meant to be a happy day for the family, the one thing that Josh would have never wished on Jason had come to pass. In order to protect the privacy of their home on Naboo, Jason would have to be trained in order to control his power and be able to hide his presence when they were here, just as anyone who stepped into their house was instructed to do. And with that training would come the pressure to walk in his father's footsteps. Pressure he did not want put on him. The Force was a gift, he knew. One deep down he was happy Jason had inherited. But he was sad too, for as much of a gift, as much of a blessing as it was... It was a curse as well. One they would have to manage for the rest of their lives. That meant he needed to be better. A better Jedi, a better teacher, a better father...

A better everything.

Taking a walk within the Rest to clear his head after giving a seminar, he felt a presence that felt familiar yet one he did not recognize at the same time. Gingerly making his way toward it, the source of that presence manifested itself in a woman that he didn't recognize. Approaching her, he would give a gentle, respectful bow.

"Welcome to the Silver Rest" Josh spoke warmly, giving a soft smile. "Is there anything I can do for you?"

Abigail had wondered whether the man would approach her or not. As he did, she shot him a curious look as she found his face to be vaguely familiar, but she guessed she might've been confusing him with someone else.

"Thank you", Abigail replied with a polite nod. "I was just... visiting", she added after a second of thinking. What was the true purpose of her being here? She didn't even know herself, there were multiple things she would like to do, but no one thing really drove her to go here.

Abigail gave the man a small smile as she returned her attention to him. "Forgive me if I'm being direct, but you're with the Silver Jedi, correct?"

She already knew the answer to that question, but one really couldn't be too sure in these times. She couldn't be anyway.

"Aye, I am. Senior Assembly member Josh Dragonsflame, at your service" The Jedi Master would greet with a gentle bow and a warm smile. She wasn't one of the people he recognized from the Order so he had imagined she was visiting. He was curious what she was visiting for, though... Was she from one of their allies? Was she a traveler? It was hard to tell by the looks of her, really.

"And what of you?" He would then ask. "Where are you from? What is your purpose for visiting here?"
