Clean Lands
Local Time: 0530

If the Galaxy was inhabited solely by two men, they would find a reason to fight.

As the old saying went, conflict was something seemingly woven into the fabric of creation. In fact, nearly every congregation of sentient beings throughout history had waged war against another. The shedding of blood was, frankly, a reality that came with life in the Galaxy...and that was a reality ApeX made profit of. You see, as a PMC, bloodshed was money. Greater conflicts created greater payouts - and that which was woven into creation's fabric would make kings out of a mercenary entity.

And this day, the ApeX Commander sought to bolster his forces.

This day, Malok arose from the midst of his freshly-rennovated facility with a clear target in mind. At the fringes of the Clean Lands, several kliks out from their location, was a relatively minor village - at least in comparison to other native gatherings. It was also far removed from its fellows, which was an oddity considering how warlike Honoghr's natives were. In fact, a keen eye would identify this as textbook segregation.

This was ApeX's ticket in.

For this particular operation, Malok had opted to go in small. Approaching the segregated population, regardless of circumstance, would be seen as a challenge...And that was exactly opposite of what the Behemoth was going for. No, he wanted to appear as the pinnacle of benevolence: a new option in the face of their daily ostracization. Thus had he prepared only two of the "landsharks": hardy, all terrain vehicles. One was for himself personally whilst the other was for one of his more "special" recruits: @Sathona.

If things went south, she was just the wild card that would keep them alive.

The two were set to leave immediately prior to the break of dawn, and at the current time the heavens were beginning to lighten. Malok straddled his vehicle and roused its engine with a mighty rumble; and Sathona was sure to arrive soon.

When she heard that it would just be her and [member="Malok"] going somewhere she knew something was up. He only took the two of them when he needed stealth and a wild card . Though, when she found what time they were leaving she could of murdered that damn Ape.

The rumbling of her rover would be the only signal that Sathona had arrived. Pulling up beside the Ape, the pale haired woman would lower her shades and then glower at the hulking form beside her.

"You couldn't of picked any other time Ape-man.?" She all but growled out, her eyes still narrowed before she would give an incline of her head, signaling she was ready for him to lead the way to where they were headed. Lowering her shades , she would ready herself for whatever wild ride she knew was ahead of her , it normally always ended in either success or a brawl when it was just Malok and her.

.

"I could have, little girl, but that would have been easy on you."

The sleep-deprived form of [member="Sathona"] drew ever closer as her rover left the facility. It was a wonder that she could cling to the rumbling vehicle, as Malok was well aware of how poorly she functioned without a cup of caf. As such, the Behemoth took a break from their usual banter in order to reach down into his own vehicle. His oversized fingers fumbled for a moment until they gripped the cylinder they sought, bringing it into the morning light. "Here." he said with a slight grin. "Can't have you passing out on the way down."

He then tossed the woman the travel tube of fresh caf before motioning to the horizon. "Jokes aside, this isn't going to be a quick ride. The settlement in question is several kliks out and I'd rather get there, handle our business, and return before the sun goes down. Now, I know you're not a morning person, but I think you'd prefer riding in daylight over freezing those pale cheeks of yours off."

As to what pair of cheeks he was referring to, only the gods knew.

Turning, Malok then revved his engine and took off, leading the way off the Training Facility grounds.
