What do you care to die for?
NAME: Ora Haskarr of Blackfell
FACTION: None Yet
RANK: Witch Spellweaver
SPECIES: Sanguinius Vampirika
AGE: Appears to be in her late 20s, is actually 300 years old
SEX: Female
HEIGHT: 5'7"
WEIGHT: 125 LBS
EYES: An eerie ice blue
HAIR: Naturally white, though she does wear a lot of wigs
SKIN: Alabaster
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes
+ Sanguinius Vampirika Physiology: Ora has heightened senses, including increased depth perception, a heightened sense of smell, and hearing, as well as a natural night vision. She has enhanced physical capabilities. These present themselves as enhanced physical strength, speed, agility, and reflexes; as well as increased endurance and durability. She is capable of healing herself due to her species natural accelerated healing. This can often be seen in minor scrapes and burns healing almost instantly (with other more serious wounds taking far less time than it would for other species to heal from similar injuries). This accelerated healing can be further enhanced through the consumption of blood, often tripling the speed of healing.
+ Master of Stealth: Ora has an uncanny ability at concealment, shadowing, and blending into the environment be it urban or natural.
+ Adept Spellcaster: Ora is quick on the fly to use her powers and spells, she requires little concentration to use any ability she is skilled in over Initiate.
+ Mentally Fortified: Coming from a ruthless legacy, she has been conditioned to withstand attempts at reading her mind and tricking her with the force.
+Wealthy: Coming from a Noble house, and raised in nobility Ora has access to her family's money.
+ The Witches Gift: Madness or not the creature that resides in Ora has gifted her with a strange ability to change her hands into long blackened claws she can use as weapons. This mostly rends flesh (They are not strong enough to rend armor).
- Photo-Sensitivity: Due to her Sanguinius Physiology, Ora is allergic to UV light. This allergy results in the individual's skin starting to burn and blister, with more severe burns developing the longer they remain in the source of the ultraviolet radiation.
- Hemovoric diet: Ora must consume blood at least once per week. Though this requirement can be overcome, the longer an individual goes without feeding the more likely they will succumb to what is colloquially known as 'hunger madness'. This 'madness' often results in the individual tearing through any populated location, slaughtering and feeding regardless of the species (even turning on their own kind). If an individual gets to this point it becomes a matter of principle that others (usual members of its own coven or bloodline) put the individual down.
- Mental Instability: There is something off about Ora and it manifests in the worst ways. Her episodes range from psychotic rages to hearing and seeing things that are not there. She claims to be possessed by a spirit of a tree and this is the cause, however, it is unclear if this is a delusion or truth.
- Creepy: There is something unsettling about Ora. Maybe it's just an air about her that makes her so creepy, no one really knows.
Ora spent much of her youth learning from various witches who were willing to teach her what they knew, and thanks to her heritage she was quite adept at learning spells. Ora was a quick study with the witches, but she had learned of a legend that dwelled in the swamps of Zakuul. Some old relic that provided vast knowledge of lost magics. What she discovered was something entirely different.
Ora does not recall what exactly happened in the swamps of Zakuul, only that she approached an old gnarled tree. She remembers she heard its whispers and saw the weeping of deep crimson from its bark. Her mind was awash with fear and interest, everything became hazy as she gave in to the tugging and nagging in her mind. She consumed the liquid as if she had no control of herself, she gulped and devoured it greedily, the taste akin to the blood she needed to live.
When she woke she was face down in the mud, covered in scratches, bruises, and injuries she couldn't explain. When she tried to find the large old tree again she could not find it at all, even after she tried to retrace her steps to get back to where she suspected it was. Part of her believes that this was all the first instance of a psychotic break due to lack of sleep and the obsessive following of a rumor. Ora left the planet empty-handed, and on edge. Disheartened that she couldn't find the item in question she returned home only to lock herself in her quarters where she spent the next few years in the throws of her madness.
Her mother attempted to get through to Ora, but it only made things worse, and when it was decided that she would no longer receive the support of her family Ora finally found the motivation to leave her room and reenter the world.
She wasn't ready for it.
Ora has left home once more, more so for the sake of the family money and her own place within that sphere and to continue her education with magic. She explores ruins, hires those who might be willing to take her into dangerous areas (under the guise she is just a naive noble looking for trinkets), and looks for lost relics. If her madness will tarnish her family name, then her actions will redeem her, at least that's how she sees it in her fractured mind.
