Ordering in Bulk

[member="Titan Kryze"]

Warren Century was not the type of person who liked to waste his time. Since he needed the bulk order of crystals, as designing an energy shield the way he planned to was not going to be easy, Warren sighed. The shield alone was going to be worth a lot of credits. Jedi, Sith, and various neutrals likely were going to pay top credit for such a shield. His innovation could be very lucrative, and make him subsequently a VERY wealthy man. Here he was in a pub on Tatooine, waiting for the arrival of the man he was going to purchase a thousand crystals from. What did he need the crystals for? Experimentation. Finding the right ones to use for a shield was going to be a pain when you knew how to build it.

When would that man arrive?

"When will he get here?"

Titan walked into the pub accompanied by the Delta One shock troopers he had recently bought from [member="Abraxis"], who had, in turn, bought them from @Adragal Raxis. Though there was only 15 of them, Titan felt that he and them combined would be more than a match for most people. He was here on behalf of his latest company, Kalevala Crystals and Sabers. This was the first bulk order they had recieved, though they had already sold nearly a hundred sabers to the masses. A man named [member="Warren Century"] had contacted him, wanting to buy the crystals over the Holonet, a foolhardy man indeed. So Titan had insisted on a meeting and the man had a agreed. That was all two days ago. "I'm here." Was all TItan said when he enetered.

"So you probably want to know what could someone like me need with one thousand crystals?" asked Warren as he looked the man over. The fact the man had mercenaries with him was a little worrying. Slowly though, he approached the man. Warren didn't have mercenaries yet, but made a mental note to get some. "I've noticed a problem with defensive technology. Sure they have Cortosis, Phrik and Beskar. Those are hard to come by as a means of protecting against the weapon known as the "Lightsaber" though. So what I will be building eventually is a form of "Light-Shield. " The Crystals are supposed to be mainly for trial and error purposes, which is why I need so many of them. It will take a great many attempts before I can succeed at creating the Light Shield."

Warren paused for a moment. "So like the innovative business man that I am, I sought to correct the problem..." He said, completely business like. "There was only one problem, crystals. I didn't have enough of them to do the job...until I found out about your company. Your company has the means to produce synthetic crystals. This means you could solve the lack of crystals issue my company faces."

"True. But so many crystals will cost you quite alot. I will also request permisson to produce these for my own, private, uses. Not for sale." Titan sat back in his seat, his troops were all ready, most of them standing in the background. "Beleive me, I am well aware of the power of Lightsabers, I'm selling them after all. If you want a thousand crystals, I will ship them too you in batches of two hundered. At 5 Million a batch." Titan knew the man wouldn't accept the price and would try to talk him down, Titan would be dissapointed if he didn't. Out if the corner of his eye, Titan saw a bartender appear. "Excuse me sir, could I possibly get a drink?"

[member="Warren Century"]

Warren thought about the man's offer. Paying that much was going to bankrupt him, and he didn't particularly fancy that much. "How about this? You'll be able to produce the shields, even SELL them if you want. But I'd get 30% of the profits, and I'd only have to pay you....500,000 per batch." Warren said. "Of course you'd have to modify the design of the shield you sold, so it wasn't EXACTLY like mine so we couldn't be accused of pirating each other's work. The shield is actually an idea I've had for a VERY long time but lacked the means to make. You are the solution to the Crystal Part, and I've recently hired some mercenaries to acquire the supplies I need to learn how to make the shield."

Warren paused.

He'd then say.

"You did well hiring those mercenaries. I'm impressed. Eventually I'll need to acquire a few mercenaries of my own. Some....nuisances are making a come back." He was referring to the Tusken Raiders he'd paid good credits to have wiped out near his home, since asking them nicely to move didn't work.

"I got them from Raxis Indpendant Arms and Mercanaries. Cost me nearly a million for the 15 of them." Titan paused for a moment winking to show his men that he knew they were sentient, even though he talking about them as though they were objects. "Of coruse I would alter the design slightely. It wouldn't be credit to my talent not too. I would say 2 Million for a batch. 3 Million less than my origianal offer." Titan said it in a tone that implied that it was a really good deal.

Warren thought about it. "One million a batch, plus a deal that says you'll only sell to clients I'm not selling to, if you must sell the shield. You'll also have the rights to make it your own. Oh, and I'll need to borrow your mercs for a few days. If they're as skilled as you say they are, it shouldn't even take them a day to wipe out an infestation near my house. An infestation that conventional methods are useless on." Diplomacy was useless on Tusken Raiders without a Protocol Droid, and they'd come in good numbers. It was why Warren was here, and not at his house presently. He wanted to keep distance between himself and the dumb raiders. "And an infestation that is why we are meeting here, given the infestation has spears, and blasters and isn't afraid to use them." said Warren. "Can't even get to my own damn lab because of the infestation. Thought I got rid of them once. "

"My men will go with you if I do. As for the rest, the terms are aceptable." Titan said, he wouldn't let his private army leave his sight. Not at all, they had cost him nearly a million credits and there was no way he was abandoning that.

[member="Warren Century"]

Warren nodded and led Titan Kryze to his house, on Tatooine. Well more of a Fortress, really. Fort Suvian had once been the home of his company here and he had plans to renovate the base. There was at least one hundred of the Tusken Raiders. Fifty of them held their spears, and another fifty blasters. Upon seeing him, they started to yell in Tusken at him to pack up and move. One of them fired at him.
Warren scowled. "Now you see why I needed the help of your soldiers, Mr.Kryze. I tried having this infestation... and I use the term heavily because I had it wiped out once... removed. That's it. I'm definitely getting some soldiers of my own down here, once I have enough credits."

Quickly pulling out his Lightsaber Crystal Blaster Pistols he'd counter the shots the Tusken Raiders made at him. "Why someone hasn't wiped them out, I have no damn clue."

"Commander Arek, call in the Adjudicator." Titan said before gesturing for [member="Warren Century"] to step back, while Titan did such thing, about 5 minuets later a massive M.A.P. D5 Adjudicator Mobile Assault Platform drove up, armed to the tooth it would make moving the Tuskens easier, much easier. Ecspeccially since 20 Luxury class comfort tanks exited the hangar. Except the tanks were armed for war. Titan gestured to one of the tanks, "Shall we?"

"Indeed we shall, my friend [member="Titan Kryze"]." Warren climbed into one of the tanks. He had to admit the mobile platform was... impressive to say the least. Reclaiming the area that had once been Fort Suvian from the creatures was going to be no easy feat. He'd probably end up having to rebuild his home. But it didn't matter. Homes could be rebuilt. Assuming of course the Tusken Raiders could be permanently 'persuaded' to stay the hell away from his house. Warren didn't want this to become a repeating problem. Eventually he was going to need his own kriffing planet in order to have a base. "You've certainly impressed me with the quality of your man power. I might have work for your squad if these pests decide they wish to come back. Feel free to wreck the place, I don't mind rebuilding anyway."

"In that case we'll use the turbolaser." Titan said, "Tell the Adjudicator to go crazy. And bring us into the air, I want to watch this from above." One of the pilot's leaned back, "Roger that sir, buckle up." Titan strapped in to his harness as the Tank lifted up into the air before opening its doors revealing transparent glass. Titan watched as the Adjudicator's large upper cannon swiveled to aim at a a party of attacking Tuskens and blasting them to pieces. "Move the woman and children to a safe location and leave weapons set to stun. Also, try and get a translator in there to explain what's going on." Titan ordered, they would do this with minimal casulties for either side. A few moments later a voice popped up on the intercomm, "Sir, the Tuskens say that they owned the land a while back but it was built on without their permisson. We beleive they are willing to barter. The tanks seem ecspecially interesting to them." Titan mused over the turn of events, "Give them 2 tanks after you disarm the tanks, and tell them that if they leave, they can have them."

[member="Warren Century"]

"As long as they stay away from my house/work shop that I'll have to rebuild anyway, I couldn't care what they do, actually. I'll have to rebuild the place anyway, before I even commence work on the device. Fashioning it is going to be no easy matter, even with the supplies that I'm going to receive soon. In any case, thanks for your help...ridding the place of those pests."

Warren said this with a soft smile. Smiles were rare for him because he was rarely happy. Of course not having a pest that wouldn't take no for an answer, and sometimes shot at you would make you happy. In his case, it definitely brightened his day. "Oh and one other thing. Tell the Tuskens they try to break into the lab again, I'm shooting to kill." The Tuskens weren't the ones who had broken into the lab, but it was a certain female Zeltron who loved to make the lives of anyone with advanced machinery hell, and sell their ideas to competitors so she could turn a nice profit. Before they lifted into the air, Warren strapped himself in as well. "I have to get me one of these vehicles. It's official."

"What ones?" Titan asked, "The Adjudicator's are for my private use only I'm afraid. You can buy these things of of Titan Industries Holonet store." The reason Titan reserved the Adjudicator's for his private use was that there were only 5 of them. But the luxury class tanks were mass porduced, "If you want you can get a much fancier version rather than a militarized version." He told [member="Warren Century"]. The rest would be taken care of here while Warren and Titan returned to the city.

Warren looked at him. The Adjucator wasn't for sell, but the vehicle in question was the one he wanted. A Luxury tank wouldn't be imposing enough. "Nevermind, on the vehicles." As they got back to the city, Warren asked. "Say, would you like to work on the shield with me? That way you know the design, and we both have it accomplished easily?" Warren asked as he led him to an empty warehouse that he'd temporarily rented. Inside was a work table and schematics. Schematics for a potential energy shield design that Warren had been working on. "Not sure how to make this work, to be honest. The materials alone are the hard part, perhaps some Truadium. No... that''s probably not durable enough. We'll also need some sort of projector to focus the power of the crystal into a shield, instead of a blade. "

"I might sell the Adjudicator's once the Mk,II is out." Titan said picking up on the man's slight dissapointment, "As for the working together I wouldn't mind. Limited amounts of Phrik or cortosis might be needed. But I think we should star expirimenting without them. If we can have the emitter of on the outside with it open a limit on the power should be able to modify the radius. QUite simple really." Titan remarked to [member="Warren Century"]. It was actually quite simple, Titan had studied sabers for years before deciding on a sword.

"Yeah, good idea. Also while we are at it, I am going to rig a thermal detonator to the internal components of the device. It would go off if one of two conditions were met. One, someone attempts to reverse engineer the shield. Two, someone attempts to use the shield against me in direct combat." Warren said this as he thought about it. "As for actual power source, hmm. Your crystals will make an excellent piece of the puzzle. But what else do we need, power supply wise? It will need some sort of energy source, preferably a technological one. We'll also need to find a way to make it to where the weapon can't be turned against either of us. For I fully intend on it being capable of being used offensively as well as defensively. We'll need to figure something out in that regard..."
