O'reen - Abridged History?

Hey Folks,

I'm working on a little project in the upcoming weeks, and as much as I would love to read through several years of RP history, I'm really lazy and would rather spend that time writing instead.

So, if any of you can recall any major events, or what may have happened on that system - your input would be greatly appreciated!

#1 on the list, probably the whole list, is when the Republic broke an agreement and staged a surprise invasion of the Fringe Confederation at O'reen. The Republic was the board's superpower at the time. The Fringe won and imposed a humiliating peace treaty. In board time, this was maybe a decade ago. Beautiful memories. Biased, admittedly, but beautiful all the same.

O'reen was the high watermark for the Republic. It was all downhill from there, a long slow drawn out death. Not sure there's been much of consequence that happened there since.

Now I wonder how many O'reen veterans are still around (the characters, not the writers).

I had a few faces there, and they're all permadead. Plenty of others on both sides are dead too. The only ones I know for sure are [member="Spencer Varanin"] and [member="Sargon Vynea"] - both retired.
