SUMMARY: Born into prosperity, Abuwah'ka was a well-educated member of the Bothan Security Forces. He rose quickly through the ranks when he joined the BSF, often working as an attache throughout the galaxy. He gained world-wide recognition for his leadership for advocating against the Empire, despite the Empire's rule over Bothawui, and was briefly imprisoned for his beliefs. After a prison break and an ambush, followed by several years in exile, Tuleev began returned to Bothan politics. This time, however, it was in support of the Confederacy that the Bothans were now a part of. It was well received and Tuleev became a political powerhouse even from afar, eventually returning to the world to run for Viceroy, and was voted into office by a wide margin. He is serving his first three-year term as Viceroy.

SUMMARY: Very little is known about Lut the Bothan's background. Nonetheless, he has a good reputation in the CIS and Mandalorian sections of the Expansion Region as being a consistent and fair smuggler.

SECTION THREE: TRAITS AND CHARACTERISTICS

Disguise: As a Silver Shadow, Oriaan Lem'gra is trained in both force and non-force skills which allow him to seamlessly take on the background, characteristics, and persona of a character. These skills are most effective for characters Oriaan Lem'gra frequently utilizes, but generally, the more preparation, the more effective and convincing the disguise. Thoroughness is Oriaan Lem'gra most effective skill in this area, allowing him to do the proper research and study to take on a role. While he prefers not to use force abilities to supplement this ability, he has trained effectively to utilize several powers to this end.

Stealth: Disguises only go so far. As a spy, Oriaan often talks himself into situations that will carry him only so far. Having skills, both force and otherwise, which allow him to blend into the background or become undetectable both visually and in the force are extremely useful. These non-force skills are partly ingrained in his usual movement, but many of both the force and non-force abilities require an inordinate amount of concentration and power. These requirements limit both their use and effectiveness.

Grey: Oriaan is a devoted member of the Order of the Silver Jedi... mostly. While the Order tends towards the "light," Oriaan finds himself oft at odds with the traditional methods and culture of the Order. While deeply respectful of these traditions, he has no issue with flying in the face of them if he believes it is best for the goal or outcome he is seeking. The Bothan is not coy about this, however. While this has bred distrust with some in the Order, for most it is simply a factor which must be accounted for.

Isolationism: Oriaan is naturally inclined to isolate himself from others, and rarely enjoys close or personal relationships beyond professional requirements with other Jedi. While he attempts to break this tendency while under a different persona, it often rears his head and forces disassociation.

Combat: The Bothan's preferred method of combat is none. However, he is highly effective in close combat (force users and non force-users alike). He relies on surprise and unpredictability in his use of the lightsaber, and is a devoted student of the lost form of Trakata. Oriaan focuses his training on fighting multiple lightsaber-wielding opponents as a defensive form. He is least effective fighting multiple ranged attackers and lightsaber-wielding opponents utilizing speed.

Appearance: To non-Bothans, Oriaan most certainly looks like a Bothan. Even to others who have experience with Bothans, he is perhaps the most generic looking Bothan. His main alter-egos look noticeably different to non-Bothans, and likely only other Bothans (although perhaps to non-Bothans who have spent significant time around Bothans) would notice key similarities in fur texture, fur length, facial construction, Wrendui, etc.

SECTION FOUR: BIOGRAPHY

Oriaan Lem'gra was born to the streets of Bothawui's capital city. Little about his heritage or early days are known to anyone, and most of it he prefers to forget. During his early years the young Bothan stalked the streets as part of a gang, safety in numbers as the youth fought for what little they had. The little Bothan boy maintained a secret though: beyond luck, he was faster than others, manipulate objects with his mind, and sense danger before it came to fruition. The Bothan Security Forces (BSF) conducted a crack-down on gang violence when Oriaan was around fifteen, and without the resources of adulthood or significant organization, many of his friends and adopted family were killed, arrested, or only barely escaped with their lives.

The young Bothan was himself arrested, and sentenced to fifteen years at a hard labor camp for his role in a violent gang act, the evidence for which was completely fabricated by the BSF. It was here than Oriaan realized he had the ability to utilize the Force, and although he had very little ability to access training, he did had a lot of free time, which he largely devoted to physical fitness and exploration of his abilities. Oriaan served six of the fifteen years before meeting Abuwah'ka Tuleev. Tuleev was a few years older than Oriaan, a political dissident who was quite literally the sole survivor of a political class of leaders who favored Bothan independence from the Empire. Together, along with a few others who had gained their trust, the Bothans planned their escape from the camp. Unfortunately, their plan was foiled by an unlucky guard shift, and all but Oriaan and Tuleev were killed or gravely injured.

Oriaan and Tuleev escaped together and made their way to a safehouse in the capital which Tuleev and his fellow dissidents had maintained. Unfortunately, the safehouse had been compromised, and BSF raided the compound. Both Bothans escaped after stealing a ship at a nearby dock, but the older Bothan succumbed to his wounds the next day. Alone and off-world for the first time in his entire life, Oriaan enlisted the help of a smuggler on Dressel to change the responders for the ship. The smuggler double-crossed the young Bothan, stealing the ship and leaving him with nothing on the grassy world.

After a few run-ins with the local police, Oriaan was hiding out in the world's largest forest, largely making a living by stealing from campers and the occasionally shake-down of unsuspecting tourists. To his great surprise, he at one point accidentally picked a Sith to rob. Luckily for him, a Jedi had been tracking the acolyte, and only just barely saved the bloodied and singed Bothan. The Jedi, an extremely adept healer, saved Oriaan's life. Realizing the Bothan had force capabilities, the Jedi brought him back to the Order where he began his formal training.

Speaking broadly, Oriaan's training as a Jedi was unimpressive. The Bothan had picked up several bad habits, and struggled to fully call upon the force in healing or fighting capacities. Additionally, his small stature but power-focused combat style was ineffective for any lightsaber technique. Eventually, he picked up Trakata as an alternative. Quite by accident, the Jedi eventually fell in with the Silver Shadows. At the start he was simply available, but because of his unique background and the skills he had developed during it, the Jedi found that he was well suited for the operations of the Shadows.

At 28, Oriaan became a full Jedi Knight. He was tasked with developing assets in the Expansion Region. At first, Oriaan developed a smuggler persona, so that he could freely travel the Region. Lut the Bothan quickly became known as a capable, fair, and lucky smuggler operating in the Expansion Region. In an attempt to reconnect some old Bothawui connections, Oriaan assumed the persona of his old friend Tuleev. Much to his surprise, the reappearance of the self exiled Tuleev was quickly widely publicized on Bothawui and in the surrounding sectors.

Oriaan was able to pose as Tuleev and tap into old circles. On Bothawui, he gained wide recognition for declaring support for the CIS, claiming it offered Bothawui its needed independence while benefiting from the protection and trade of the Confederacy. At first, Oriaan simply tapped into these old connections and circles. However, he was quickly encouraged to generate pro-CIS content, and soon built upon the remnants of Tuleev's connections to branch out and develop support. He was so popular that Oriaan actually went to Bothawuion several occasions to give talks and hold rallys, and often participated in the political sphere via comms.

After several years of developing Tuleev, and much to Oriaan's surprise, the pro-CIS government of Bothawui approached him and asked to attempt to unseat the current pro-isolationist Viceroy. "Tuleev" agreed and Oriaan moved to Bothawui to devote near-full time attention to this pursuit. He won in a landslide victory and became Viceroy and Bothawui's representative to the CIS.
